I think VD missed a piece of dialogue there. He was supposed to say i will not say thanks because meri marzi. Which then neatly bookends with Madhu's meri marzi when she hold his hand to take him back to bed. i think they shot in such a hurry that they couldn't shoot this bit again. Anyway, it left a completely odd flotsam of dialogue floating around.

I actually watched the repeat...which I never do!

I was all muddled in the head about what transpired today and came here to read your take on the epi...was still not clear ...hence the repeat view.

Actually, I think RK did thank madhu, after all, albeit in a roundabout way...one, he didn't ignore her tears. Two, he wanted to console her: thus that bon mot from the past. Three, he acknowledged that he remembers her trying to soothe and console him in the hospital...also, acknowledges that she's saved his life thrice...he says, "I won't say Thank you...I'll say only this..."

That suits me fine.😆 And, apparently, it does Madhu, too...who goes to bed with a smile on her face.

One thing I don't get though...why does RK keep saying that he is responsible for his dad's death?
I can understand him thinking that way as a child..when a parent leaves or dies, the child always feels that he/she is to blame. However, as one grows older, that view would change, wouldn't it?

Unless, the cvs aren't telling us something...that the father killed himself as a consequence to something Rishabh did unknowingly.
