I think its probably deepali like she is really desperate to get rk back like she planned to get rk injured n put the blame on madhu since madhu insisted him to come with her but her plan backfired at her. Maybe madhu's psycho dad since everyone knows madhu's reality so he probably hire someone to kill rk to make madhu's life hell.

True but in indian shows all the nice looking guys or guys without any guts turn out to be the worst villians kyunki nobody takes them seriously n heroine bhi hero ko pyar karti hain toh mukund types revenge or pour villans ban jaate hain. Plus he does have a angry side speciallly if its about his personal life.

I think its mukund. Its high time for him to come back as a grey character. He has solid reasons to shoot rk even if he dont have guts.
Rk broke his engagement with the help of his own mother and stole madhu from him. The guy was lattoo over madhu. He really loved her. Now he saw rk and madhu as a couple and frm news papers know about their romantic night out and all so he got jealous and tried to kill rk for destroying his life

Another possibility is madhu being targetted by mukund. Its bcos of some mis under standings. From media he may assume that madhu is living happily with rk and she was cheating on him. Or. Played with his feelings, he loved madhu so dearly may be still loves her. Out of jealousy he tried to kill madhu lekin rk ki strong shoulder come to rescue her. He got shot insted of madhu. Lord ganeshas favorite is madhu rk comes aftr her only
