I think its Madhu's real dad. Lets face it Shammo hates Rk but he is a god's sent man. he would never kill anyone. Mukund would scream like a girl if he even heard the gun fire. So it could be Madhu's real dad. He might wanted to shoot her but missed and shot Rk.
