Shridevi,

Thank you...
All of this what you said does makes sense...but,I just don't like this because..
1.I don't want Rishab who values relationships to great extent to just let his wife
go away especially when Madhu doesn't want that...
2.I like the possessive part of RK or Rishab whoever and don't like the ever understanding sacrificial characters
I do see Shamsher Mallik coming in between Rishbala though...and I agree
honoring her father's pride is somehow going to push Madhu into films...
May be RK does doubt Mallik for giving information to Sultan...takes no offence as he thinks he did it to free his daughter...but,Madhu gets offended by the accusation
thereby leading to their separation...For her Fathers pride she decides to work and pay off the money and Rishab's junoon would bring her into films ...Am I thinking crazy..?? ๐Ÿฅฑ

One last thing before I hit the sack. The discussion about the moli sequence I do think it mainly had to do with the emotions Madhu felt at the time. She didn't know whether to be happy that she had succeeded reuniting him with his friend or guilty for his condition. Her empathy for him is starting to get stronger and the fact that he listened to her touched her deeply. I will have to Rewatch the scene again to see if RK saw Madhu. But I honestly don't think he purposely pushed his hand their. RK isn't the man who would want to show Madhu he listened to her to earn her affection. No offense just my take on the scene. Good night!

I like how Drashti bosses over him. Check out this "abey" and "barabar hai, barabar" Gujraati response. I have cousins settled in Surat. They always say barabar barabar ๐Ÿ˜†

Look at the bonding and tease here. Karan & VD

I was shocked when I learned he was that young but I probably shouldn't have.

Thanks for posting the links SD... I love the cuteness that is VD and DD off screen together too, there was that one little scene from one of the segments that had them doing the scene where Madhu is attempting to leave RK's room. One shot where he's trying to take her phone away and another where she playfully hits him on his cheek. As for the other links, VD is just an all around likable guy I think. I personally don't care too much about actors and their personal lives cause it sometimes ruins the enjoyment of the show for me but I like what I have seen.

Personally though, I like RK more than VD if that makes sense. RK is just so manly! VD is cute lol..

Thanks SD for the videos.. I loved watching them.. I love Wahi.. I seem to have an attraction for young guys (not boys).. ๐Ÿ˜ณ Between Wahi and VD, Wahi is my favorite.. ๐Ÿ˜ณ He is a superb actor.. I have seen him only in TMLS.. Sigh.. Had stopped seeing DMG before his entry.. ๐Ÿ˜”

Let me go to bed now.. Have a very very hectic day tomorrow.. Cant be sleepy like today... Goodnight everyone..

I too like the man RK. He has that sexual appeal too. (well here credit goes to VD for portraying that which in real life he doesn't enact that way). The best one where it oozes out is when he walks behind Madhubala up the stairs...the look that he has and the way he gets up from the sofa and runs after...

VD is just a kid. The way he was saying 5 goal maare, 7 goal maare and then others teasing him, it reminded me so much of my school buddies in their sweat shirts and sweat and that kind of excitement. We girls used to adore our boys and also beat them if we wanted to as in with all abuses. Oh! those videos reminded me so much of our classmates. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I completely agree. I don't get why people are always criticising his acting. I mean the guy is portraying a man that he is not like quite convincingly. VD is definitely adorable in a young kid like way and I guess that's what makes him as VD likable in a way. His portrayal of RK is very masculine and alpha male, with a hint of boyish charm creeping in every now and then. I hope they hold onto that.

ETA: (also, that sexual appeal comes from the facial scruff. I have a weakness for guys with stubble and facial scruff lol)

Looks like you're all headed to bed. I should probably head to bed soon too. It's started snowing. I'm worried about what this means for my morning commute.

Had a great time chatting with you all again! Have a great night :)

Coming in at the fag end of the thread, sorry. Had to go hunting for it in the forum since the last post was in the morning.๐Ÿ˜• Late, who me?๐Ÿ˜†
Re. Sikky in yesterday's ep, Sikki seems to have more of a reckless impulsive strain in his character.๐Ÿ˜Š
Reared by a father less venal than Kukku, he would not perhaps be a bad brother.๐Ÿ˜•
But as the matter stands, his reactions are spontaneous.๐Ÿ˜›
When Nair started talking of the scene in which a son would walk in on his dead father's suicide, and Sikki saw RK looking upset, he deliberately encouraged Nair to continue because he himself did not dare hurt RK so overtly.
And yesterday when RK was shot, it was an immediate panicked concerned humane reaction - "Uthh! (Get up!)".๐Ÿ˜Š
But by the time they got to the hospital, the immediacy and the humaneness had slipped away for self-serving convenience.๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿผ

Sorry to disappoint you.
There was nothing romantic today, BUT there were beautiful and symbolic moments today.

  • Ganesh Visarjan scenes in night vision -SYMBOLIC
Symbolically it meant end of RK. Ganesha is immersed because we create him, we give a form to our God and when it is time to let-go, we immerse him in water so that the clay dissolves and Ganesha once again becomes formless. So is RK by the end of Visarjan is literally on deathbed and also figuratively the man Rishabh Kundra had let go his RKesque image that he extremely loved all these years.

Read it, SD.๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ‘ I usually read up to about late night IST, and then read off the later posts at some point the next day.๐Ÿ˜Š
Love your points.โญ๏ธ Going to go at this point by point, otherwise the two posts together are going to look humongous.๐Ÿ˜›
I felt the Ganesh idols having visarjan at the same time as RK's life was in peril was a case of the Lord leaving Rishabh in a situation in which the Lord's other fervent devotee Madhu would have to set aside her hesitations and qualms about admitting her position and commitment to her marital relationship.๐Ÿ˜ณ
But your take was also very in-depth. No reason to believe Lord Ganesh didn't plan the situation to have not just these two but several other concurrent shades as well.๐Ÿ˜ƒ I really *really* need to read up the other later posts on this thread to check the other posts' points.๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜†
