Part:2

Her eyes widened in shock as he repeated his goodbye. He looked back right into them, feeling the smirk on his lips twist almost into a snarl. He felt a sick satisfaction seeing the twirl of emotions in those wide eyes. She looked at him with a mix of Sarcasm and anger as if daring him to keep up to his goodbye.

He laughed openly, the rare sound somehow getting mingled with the warm, dusty breeze.

He turned around to the moorthi of his old yet new found friend.

Rishab Kundra was where he belonged. RK on the other hand was not.

Never in his wildest dreams did the young teenager who had spent countless nights weeping, imagine that he would be back under the towering Moorthi of GaneshJi.

It had all begun and ended on the day his father died. It was the beginning and the end of things both good and bad.

But today not he was standing in front of his Dosth with a wide smile on his face. A glee attained from confusing his Biwi. A happiness derived from being a child he once was.

"Ganpathi Bappa!!" he roared. The crowd picked up from where he left, completing the chant. He heard her mutter 'Morya' quietly and his smile widened, if that was even possible.

"RK.." She called him quietly.Low volumes tend to be missed by the ears of this superstar but somehow he was able to hear her voice then. Loud and clear.

He turned towards her and saw that the worried expression had intensified due to some reason.

"Kya hua Biwi?" There was no mockery or sarcasm from his side this time. He felt solemn and the sight of the wrinkled eyebrows and the oh-so-slightly pouted lips.

"Woh..tum.."

He heard it before he felt it. But he didn't move. He couldnt.He could register the chill in the air and the static nature of his surroundings all for a split second. Then came the pain.

He has seen mirrors crack. He himself had been responsible for all of those mishaps. A fit of anger, a bout of fear or a rush of memories had been the culprit. But never in his life had he imagined that the glass pieces hurt so much. Every single shard pricked him a manifold times causing him to struggle to breathe.

He could hear her scream. Over the shouts of the crowd. He wondered how it was possible.It was as if her voice was a liquid splashed over his face he felt the intensity of it on full swing.

He couldn't understand what she was saying though. The words were blended together too fast, mixed up in all the wrong proportions. He had half the mind to get up from wherever he was and order her to talk slowly. But he couldn't and he knew it.

He didn't have the mind to try too. He felt trapped in a blank room.A word uttered might get sucked in my the walls around him, a moment might just a waste. So he lay down calmed by the gentle pressure of her hand over his.

"Rishu!! Aankhein Kholo Rishu..!"

The panic was too much. The voice was not hers. But it was that of his mothers.Janam dene waali Aurat. He wouldn't open his eyes. He could hear the urgency and the pain in her tone. His head felt sluggish and slow but not enough to prevent the image of the same woman clutching him in her arms and screaming at his father to open his eyes.

Was the same things going on in her head too?

First husband and now her animal of a son?

He didn't care. He just knew that he was not going to wake up. He needed to rest now.

He was alright till he felt the coldness of the room they were keeping him in. The steel rods kind of thing they kept him on was warmer than this room.He could smell the medical stench and hear the beeping of Machines. He yearned to search for her hand but it was just not there anymore and he couldn't do anything about it.

He wondered whether she had left him too.

Betrayal..

Its not a new thing..Is it?
