CHAPTER 8
"Padmini maasi?" RK spoke with a confused look, he looked at Padmini and then back at Trishna, While the two ladies just stopped in their tracks looking at each other with a bewildered look.
RK walked up to them to face them...
Padmini looked at him and smiled wryly,
"R...Rishab, how are...you? Did you get hurt?" She asked nervously yet a hint of concern showed on her face...
RK waved his hand and dismissed her question...,

"I am RK- the superstar! Nobody messes with me! Not a scratch... But what... are you doing. Here?"
Padmini gulped, she didn't know how to answer that... RK was indeed unaware of her and Madhu's relation! He didn't know that she was her Mom, even though they had been school mates he never met her mom back then... He met her father though.
"I...I came to... Check on you!" She answered hurriedly while Trishna stayed mum looking here and there,
"Bittuji had told me that you were here...so!"
She lied, she didn't like that fact but she didn't want to reveal the truth else RK might just blast Madhu and their problems may rise again... RK treated Padmini in high regard, maybe more than his own mom as his mom couldn't ever give him the pure motherly love after the demise of his dad...she was so engrossed in taking care of the house that he was almost neglected of this right...
Whereas Padmini treated him as her own son!
"Maasi, I'm fine! But why didn't u meet me if u came to check on me?" He looked abashed and he knew it very well that something was been kept from him!
Trishna looked at him wide-eyed and stuttered," woh! U were asleep... So I only suggested that she doesn't meet...you"
RK raised a brow," Really there? And who are to decide that?" He spoke with a supercilious attitude.
"RK, beta... Please! Ill take leave now..." Padmini said shortly and turned to leave after caressing RK's cheek while Trishna sighed in relief... "Take Care and go home safely, there are a lot of reporters outside...". She said leaving... RK just nodded.
"And, don't fight! Take Care of her" she said lastly, teary-eyed! And left!
RK was lost in his own thoughts while Trishna abruptly shut the door behind her and dashed to go to her room avoiding the questions RK might ask her...
She was afraid, what if he told Madhu about Padmini's visit? Oh God, she'll be so screwed!

RK walked back to Madhu's room in a trance, he sat on the bed and realised it was empty...
He jerked and looked here and there... He checked for the bathroom but that wasn't occupied either... He walked outside and went to the kitchen and there was no one there...

He knocked Trishna's door," Is Madhu inside?" He inquired...

Trishna shook her head and suddenly panic struck her, did she see padmini? Oh no!
She rushed outside, and before RK could contemplate her action she marched towards the study room... RK followed her!
There the two saw Madhu facing the tinted windows and her back towards them... Trishna reached out for her...
"Madhu..." She spoke while placing her hand on her shoulder...
Madhu walked past her and went inside her room... RK stood there looking at her... He couldn't comprehend her actions.
Trishna ran behind her...
"Madhu... Pls.."
"ENOUGH!" Madhu shouted... She looked at Trishna with ire in her eyes...
"I don't wanna hear anything Trish, please its better you leave me alone for some time."
Trishna tried reasoning," Listen to me Madhu..."
"Listen to what!? To what? Since when has this been going on huh? I saw her once...long time ago but i didnt utter a word, thinking...this just the first time and that you'll, Understand!" Madhu spoke with her voice rising...
"I still do. Madhu its not how it seems...She just told me that..."
"Really? WOW! So now you very conveniently follow her instructions? did... You befriend me also because she told you to do so?"
Trishna was loosing her patience now, and Madhu certainly needed a dose...
"STOP IT! Just STOP okay?" Trishna shouted stepping closer...
"Why? Does the truth..." Madhu continued not letting this go...
"TRUTH!! The Truth Ms.Madhubala CHAUDHRY is that you are nothing but a selfish and self-indulgent girl who see's nothing against her own RIGHT choices and DECISIONS!... All you..." Trishna was on the verge of loosing it now... RK witnessed the entire scenario silently standing a bit far from the duo...
"I am SELFISH and SELF-INDULGENT? Really there? Since when? Just to cover up your FAULT do not put the BLAME on me!" Madhu was turning truculent now...
"In which world do you live Madhu? Wake Up! You've a FAMILY but you chose to IGNORE and sideline it! You chose to let the care flow away, you chose to let the love go away... But SHE didn't! She still cares, loves and watches out for you!" Trishna wasn't letting this go...
Madhu turned her back and closed her eyes...
"Don't Turn away MADHU! She was Here, she was here to see how you were... This isn't the first time... She always comes here to see what you do, how you are! And YOU! Ha look at you, you don't give a damn! You've ashamed each and every daughter in this world! DAUGHTERS, those women who are said to have a the golden Hearts! LOOK AT YOU girl! And ask yourself, were you ever a GOOD daughter? How I wish Padmini aunty didn't care for you so much... How I wish she let you go like you did!" And with that Trishna left leaving a broken and agitated Madhu and a more Baffled RK!

Madhu sat down on her bed, resting her head on her palms...
RK walked up to her, still shocked at the revelation! He sat next to her... And placed a hand on her shoulder...
"Go Away! I'm in no mood to fight... Or Kiss!" Madhu spoke without looking at him...
"Why are you always stuck on just two terms in regard to me?" RK asked
She looked at him and sighed...
"Madhu listen, we all make mistakes... Its okay! You've realised yours... Now we'll go together to padmini maasi's house and you can..." He continued...
Madhu looked at him disbelieving ly,"What?!"
"I don't wanna go to that woman's house!" She spoke while getting up!
RK was taken aback!
"Madhu, what's wrong with you? She your MOM!"
"NO, she's NO1 but a demeaning woman who has committed mistakes all her life..."
"SHUTUP! What kind of a child are you?How can you ever talk about your mom like that?" RK was furious at her comments...
"You no nothing about me life Mr.Rishab Kundra, so you've no right whatsoever to talk to me like that, anyways who the hell are you?" Madhu was beginning to loose her temper...
"Who am I? Well nothing of yours but Padmini Masi is like my mum, and I shall not Tolerate a word AGAINST her! I've never seen such a total mess of a woman like you!"
"I must say, you've a MOTHER right? Congrats on the SECOND HAND one! I've never seen a more lucky man like you!" Sarcasm filled her tone!
"You know what? Trishna was right, your nothing but a woman with a SHAMELESS CHARACHTER who goes about to change the world but her own world is a piece of broken glasses, cause she's the one responsible for breaking them! How do you live with yourself?! For a moment I thought, I misunderstood you as a person... But NO your worse than I think of YOU! YOUR a..."
"THAT'S it RK... HATE is what I have for you, get out of my house!"
"Why scared to hear what you are? A WOMAN who can't respect her own MOM can't achieve anything in life! WHAT a PITY? ALONE that's what you are and will always BE! YOUR the DEMEANING one, your a USE and THROW and if ur father wouldve been alive today I bet he wouldve died looking at his DAU..."
Before RK could complete he felt a strong force on his face... SLAP... She had slapped him!
"ENOUGH! This is what YOU DESERVE Mr. Kundra, you aren't even worthy of LOVE! I mean look at you, who would spend their LIFE with a HOPELESS and LONELY soul like you? You should LOOK AT YOURSELF, I feel SORRY FOR YOU! I don't DESERVE you, your right! COS I don't wanna be a part of some empty BOOK's life! And this 2nd SLAP, it marks how IMP u are in my life!"
RK looked at her with venom in his eyes!
"HOW DARE YOU?" He said while grasping her shoulders!
"LEAVE ME, how DARE I? HOW DARE YOU?"
RK left her,
"YOU'll PAY FOR THIS! NOW, IN FRONT OF EVERYONE!"
He held her hand... And dragged her outside her house...
Trishna who was sitting her room heard the commotion and came out to see what happened and was shocked... She tried stopping RK but in vain!
RK dragged Madhu outside her house, the entire building was surrounded by Paparazzi's... But he didn't care!
He opened the door of the car and pushed Madhu inside! He sat on the drivers seat and Rode of like a Maniac... While Trishna and the Press ran after them...
