RK saw Madhu sleep like a child and smiled slightly, he analysed the whole day's happening and was grief-struck, the thought of an independent girl staying all alone going through so much was highly traumatising...
He was brought out of her thoughts when the lady next to him had very coveniantly moved inside the blanket and snuggled beneath it, RK shifted Madhu slightly on the inner side and made space for himself to sleep... He lay down on the bed and before giving a last glance to the brave woman ext to him drifted off to a deep sleep.

The next morning, the sun's rays were some what overshadowed by the heavy weight of the clouds in the sky...
It was only 7:00 a.m. and thats when the bell of Madhu's house rang, waking up Madhu from his deep sleep...
Madhu struggled to open her eyes and saw the figure sleeping next to her, RK. She sighed looking at the way he slept...in all these years if something that didnt change about him apart from his egoistic and arrogant nature it was his typical, spiderman style of sleeping!
She got out of her comfort zone to recieve the door, she went and opened the door only to find a panicked and anxious Trishna standing there with her bag...
"Madhuuu!!! OMG, are you alright?" Trishna didnt even bother about anything and threw her arms around Madhu's neck...
"Tri..sh.." Madhu tried getting some air to breathe...
"Ooops sorry, i forgot about your wounds...is everyting alright? I saw the news last night...Rk was here? and you stayed alone last night? I'm so sorry i waasnt here thats why i came rushing!" and with that Trisha's endless questions starting erupting like a volcano...
"Trish..Trish relax! I'm fine...and No, I wasnt alone...Rk was with me...and can you talk a bit softly please, hes sleeping." madhu answered all of Trishna's questions non chalantly while shutting the door behind her.
Trishna's eyes bulged out, she couldnt believe it that the two of them staye under the same roof that to for a whole night!! without murdering each other? God, and wait...dd madhu just say "talk softly because...RK's sleeping?" OMG! what's happened in just a week's time?
"Madhu... you and RK..?"
"Oh My God! Dont even go there... are you in your right senses girl?" madhu questioned Trishna with a look full of bewilderement.
"No...i mean this sudden affection...and you guys spending the night together..." Trishna was a bit embarassed by her sudden conclusions.
"The least i can do for him is be grateful, after all that you know.." madhu rolled her eyes...
"okkay, But seriously Mads are you fine...? I tried contacting you but couldnt get through, you've no idea what you put me through Madhu!" Trishna explained, in a complaining tone...
Madhu sighed and hugged her," I'm all cool...You should freshen up and get some rest... idk why, but im still tired... i think ill go slep on for a bit more"
Trishna smiled and then looked at her mischievously,"Where are you gonna sleep?"
Madhu answered ingenuosly," In my room, Why?"
Trishna chuckled at her unaffected response to her question and just walk off shaking her head...
Trishna was conizant about RK's and Madhu's relation with each other, she knew they abhorred each other to an extent that they would be more than needy to take away each other's life if ever placed in a battling zone, but she also knew that their loathing justified how much they needed one another.
In all these 5 years that Madhu hadn't seen a sight of RK never had she evr forgotten him or their long-term enemity starting right from school... and the only person she would talk to about the unhealthy style of his living, and the ego boost he got after being a superstar or his arrogant and crap like attitude is Trishna...
That's the reason why Trishna never ever revealed to her about her relationship with Karan, RK's one year younger brother who was also a choreographer...
Even Karan didnt tell RK anything... Out of simple fear of the reaction or the consequence of the revealation.
Ironically, RK's mom and Madhu's mom were well informed about the couple...
RK's mom knew as Karan couldnt handle hiding things from her and Madhu's mom got to know it throw RK's mom who was a very dear acquaintance of Padmini Mallick... Madhu had kept herself away from her mom as much as she could after her father's death since 3 years and hence, her mom had decided not to bother her if that was her wish, however she didnt fail to check up on her life andher well-being... She had formed a close bond with Trishna who would keep her well informed about Madhu's life and well-being...
RK treated Padmini as his 'masi' and also called her that... since RK's mom and Padmini were close friends but RK didnt know that Madhu was the daughter of Padmini... neither did he ever ask Padmini about her family, all he knew was that her husband, Shamsher mallick died 3 years back and thats how Padmini got into movies in order for survival...
Madhu entered her room and saw RK still sleeping like a 8 year old she shook her head and positioned herself next to him on the bed and dozed of to sleep...
Trishna went to freshen up first as she had a journey like mad, with Karan driving the car in full speed from Lonavla to Mumbai and covering the distance in no less than 2 hours, after they heard the new about the whole controversy surrounding Madhu!
Just then she heard the bell ring, Trish went to recieve the door only to find the shock of her life...
"Padmini aunty..?"
There stood admini on the doorstep of her daughter's house with agony, pain, tears all visible in her eyes...
"I;m.. so..sorry kaisi hai voh?" she spoke with sobs in between...
Trishna held her by the arm gently and led her to her room, so that she doesnt disturb the duo of their beauty sleep...
"Aunty...relax..here water." trishna tried comforting her while giving her a glass of water...
Padmini relaxed a bit and spoke normally," I know i shouldnt be here.. but after what all my child went through...i just.."
"Aunty, its but obvious for you to be here...infact Madhu should see how much you care for her and love her." Trishna said cutting her off...
"NO, Trishna please dont tell her...I'll see her from far and leave... i dont want to create a scene. and specially when she's just gone through so much..."
"as you wish aunty, but madhu should kow..." Trishna tried her best convincing her but padmini dismissed her. Trishna took padmini towards madhu's room and opened the door slightly...
There Padmini saw her daughter sleepng peacefully and all her worries were crushed at once specially when she saw RK besides her...they were at a 1/2 feets distance from each other sleeping peacefully but yet to know that the man was there forher daughter even after all their differences was a big satisfactory achievement for Padmini... she loved RK just like her son and was proud about that fact today...
"Umm... he stayed over to check to her" Trishna whispered as low as she could.
Padmini smiled at Trishna and turned to leave, just as Trishna was about to bid farewell to her a voice broke in from behind,
"Padmini Masi...?"
Heyy guys, i know im a bit late... but seriously im so sorryy ive my exams going on and i cant write long updates also, but after i get over with my current life tracK! *sigh* i shall definitely treat you all with a double bonanzaa!! 😉 Till then happy reading!
