Part 27 - Dealing With Pregnant Biwi Part Two

Both RK and Madhu went to put on clothes.

Madhu wore a beautiful pink and orange anarkali suit and RK wore an orange shirt to match his wife.

Madhu was just about to walk out of their room when suddenly RK grabbed her hand and pulled her into his chest. He put his arms around her waist as she placed her arms around his neck.

Madhu: What happened patidev?

RK: Just wanted my good morning kiss.

Madhu: Didn't you get enough of those this morning?

RK: Nah biwi nah. I kissed you...you didn't kiss me back! Where's my morning kiss Mrs. Kundra?

Madhu smiled and was about to pull in for a kiss when suddenly they heard someone clearing his throat behind them.

They both turned, to see Bittuji once again.

Madhu: BITTUJI!

RK looked at his furious wife and laughed. He rubbed her shoulders and then turned to face Bittuji.

RK: Bittuji! Can't you knock?! I have a biwi now.

Bittuji: Sorry chief, I'm still not used to bhabiji being in your room. I've become used to always running in when you were alone.

RK: I'll let it go this time, again. But make sure you knock next time!

Bittuji: Yes chief...

RK: Did you need something?

Bittuji: Just came to tell bhabiji that her doctor's appointment is soon.

RK: For?

Madhu: RK, check up. I'm pregnant.

RK: Oh, right...I'll come with you.

Madhu: I wasn't going to let you not come with me!

Madhu and RK left their room and began walking down the stairs when unexpectedly RK got a phone call.

He pulled his phone out and answered it. On the other end he heard a deep manly voice.

Caller: I send you pictures of your cheating wife and you decide to celebrate her pregnancy instead? Not a good idea RK. I wonder whose child it is...

RK: WHO AR...

The caller hung up before RK could ask who it was. Madhu looked up at RK.

Madhu: Who was it?

RK: No one.

She punched him.

RK: OW!

Madhu: Tell me. Now. Or else I'll cry and create a scene.

RK: Are YOU threatening ME?!

RK laughed but Madhu's angry face didn't change. RK controlled his laughter and stared at his wife.

Madhu: I wouldn't laugh at a pregnant lady if I were you...

RK: Another threat?!

Madhu: Yup.

Madhu smiled and RK looked at her confused.

RK: Your face.

Madhu: WHAT ABOUT MY FA

RK: No! No I mean. The number of emotions that cross your face in one day is probably ten times more than the amount that normally used to cross your face.

Madhu laughed. She tugged on RK's arm.

Madhu: Let's goo, we're late!

RK followed as Madhu walked out of their house.

They went to the doctors and were told that so far the pregnancy is all right and everything's healthy. When they returned to their car Madhu had a random craving for crackers. RK went to buy her some and handed them to her.

She began munching away but started talking with her mouth full.

Madhu: You never answered me. Who was it?

RK: Wrong number.

RK laughed at the way Madhu was trying to speak with her mouth full of crackers.

Madhu: What?!

RK: Maybe you should eat first and THEN talk to me.

Madhu nodded her head and kept munching away. They were ten minutes from home when suddenly Madhu spoke.

Madhu: RK!!!

RK who had driven himself and his biwi to the doctors, rather than with a driver, suddenly slammed on his breaks and looked at his wife. Luckily no car was behind them on this lonely road.

RK: Are you okay?! What happened?!

Madhu: I HAVE TO GO!

RK: Where?!

Madhu: NOW!

RK: What's happening?!

Madhu raised her pinky and then ran out of the car to relieve herself.

She walked back with an expression of relief on her face. She sat down and looked at RK seriously.

Madhu: I hate the side effects of pregnancy.

RK laughed and then continued to drive.
