i know I'll be bashed for it but I have to say this..most of .the current crop of members are teenagers and very aggressive ones at that, happy and safe in their anonymity.

I must be one of the elder if not the eldest member on IF. So, I find all this laughable most of the times and reprehensible.

My point is that it is next to impossible for the essence of the forum to change. But it's cheering and positive that there are members like you who boldly tread where no man or woman has gone before...I'm serious. I don't have the temperament to counter these people...so I take the easy way out and ignore the posts...and never ever open a thread...I've had my horrible experiences.

I think we are beginning to have a thriving, intelligent, non-clique-y community on here, which I enjoy being part of. I hope you do to!

Wow i feel so flattered that the great FQ made a post all in my honor. If you don't mind me asking, may i know the reason why i am being personally attacked on your post. You say you have a problem against personal attacks and here you are calling me and my friends a part of the "brainless population" and a bunch of bullies. Wow that is what you call double standards.

How do you expect me to react to this post am I supposed to give you a standing obviation with a garlands of flowers or should I express my disapproval? Why didn't you just mention my name Cookieraider or Sarina, I mean if you gonna be openly hating on me then please do it with some standards and class. In you previous post you were attacking me, nishi, tammy and farah by calling us bully's and dumb people and I respectfully ignored that comment to avoid a fight. But when it's happening for the second time and we are again being attacked again, I am not going to tolerate this.

By the way I joined India forums on 18 august 2012 so I have not really known these people for a very long time and everyone was helping and friendly to me. I don't know what you are seeing, but I have never seen of my "brainless population" of friends attacking any innocent person.

Everything in that post was simply made for ENTERTAINMENT. In that post your name was not mentioned, so I really don't understand why I am getting personally attacked here. Ok you don't like my post fine, then go express your disapproval on it. Angel aka Vivoash would have gladly removed the spelling rule (I am assuming you had a problem with that rule hence this post.)

I also discussed the DDians liking DD'S sexy back and none of them had a problem with that, i hinted at Heart-Breaker also known as anu being gay but even he didnt attack or bash me. I also made comments on the two popular groups on this forum and they had no problems with it either. Want to know why no one else attacked me, it because it was a FUN POST and it was making fun of everyone there including ME. In this forum everyone is welcome to talk with each other and no one is ignored so I am not really getting the closed cliques remark, please do explain further.

Hey guys. That post was just a fun post like how we usually make. It wasn't serious.

And yes, I agree with your pov. Anyone can share different povs as long as they are respectful and follow the IF rules.

Yes it is a shame when brainless populism takes over. I think the only way to counter it is to provide a neutral space for those who are not so aligned to interact and enjoy themselves. Why should we let devisive extremists claim this space for themselves? Peacefully and with full restraint, we should continue to assert our rights for a free and fearless space for interaction that is free from bullying. When I came on lots of people tried to bully me. They must have done so to others before me, and unless someone stands up to them, will continue to bully others. I am sure they have realised now that it is not possible to bully someone like me. My dear Sarina, if I may. Please read my initial post again. It says quite clearly that it provides context for the humorous thread you are referring to , just so that genuine newcomers, who will not follow your jokes, do not get confused. You are not being attacked. We barely know each other; we do not interact on the forum as we have very different tastes, and there is no reason for us to be concerned with each other.

Please do not feel victimised. I had forgotten that we had that altercation till I found the post you refer to and which I considered misleading if not taken as a jest. I only quoted myself in my post precisely because I did not wish to make it personal and frankly, had quite forgotten the identity of the person who had given me that advice. I do think that should be adequate proof of the fact that I have no personal grudge against you or your friends.

If you read my replies carefully, you will realise that I refer to brainless populism as a concept. Why you should choose to interpret that as you or your friends being brainless, is, to me, quite inexplicable.

But what i fail to understand is why is she attacking me for a fun post that has nothing to do with her expect a spelling rule which angel would have gladly removed if she had a problem with that...she is publicly calling me and the peepz i hang out wid a brainless populism(and btw populism is know as anti-intellectual political movements) and bullys along with extremists.

Do you wish to confess to doing all the things you have so kindly highlighted in red? Because I do not see any reference to you or your friends in there. So unless you feel that this applies to you because you have conducted yourself in this manner, I fail to see why this post should be in any way applicable to you.

I am completely perplexed by this.
