I actually think the hate he has for madhu is a cover for something nicer he feels for her, and I believe since they married he has been wanting her to want to be his wife when they are alone as well as when other people are around. So just like our minds dreaming of lovely scenes of them alone he (the character RK) has been dreaming of similar scenes. He made use of the opportunity now to get them closer with Deepali trying to seduce him...he might have remembered how well he slept the previous day, even in a sitting position just because he had an arm around her and could rest his head on hers, so today he wanted to breach the gap between them and make them a closer couple, by getting rid of the barrier of separate sleeping places, coach and bed.

because Madhu is his new sleeping aid he doesn't need the alcohol anymore. he realized this when they spent the night in the studio together. Plus Madhu doesnt want RK drinking so in a way he is following her orders.

I think he knew dips might come uninvited and check on them in the morning, he slept in the bed to prove his point to his bhaviji😊

I honestly think he's afraid of Bittu ji! He just yells and orders him around so Bittu ji can feel somewhat intimidated!

RK was afraid Madhu would change her mind in the middle of the night and maybe go out for her nightly stroll so he decided to sleep next to her and kept his arm over her... (you know how people 'nazar' rakhtay hain, RK haath rakhta hai)🤣
