Instead I used to get in trouble and hurt because I loved both shows and actors though geet more as it came before pkyek so it was like the first love. It is funny how now geet and pkyek fans had to come together for this show when once they used to be rivals. May be something like this happens in future between this show and the padosi show lol;)
Don't worry. Sometimes it feels like a crime to like two shows when their fans fight with each other. You just ignore and enjoy. Otherwise, you will be the one who will get hurt. :)

Thanks for the kind words...maybe she wasn't directing it to me...but i have come across this thing lot of times n ignored...just that this time...cudnt help...😊...anyways, i love n enjoy watching both the shows...some amazing talent there..😊

🤣 🤣 🤣 I love this kind of topic 😈

First it's not a chiii chiii thing for normal people but it is when the family is rich or the party is given by a celebrity... and no need to be in India 😆 Even in hollywood movies it's the same thing... and sach boloon toh it's a part of reality 😆

For every mother their children are heeras no matter how they are... so what if the line was chorofied from movies and sounds filmy 🤔 And Radha ji is right, RK is a heera but acts like a koyla... and Madhu is their to polish him...

I simply loved Bittu ji and his psychopana... RK is a very good professor 🤣

RK didn't seem fida over the "hot lady" as you are calling her... Lekin Madhu for 2 sec forgot what she was doing 🤣 Ding dong... 🤣

And buying things for her is a part of his evilness... I bought this for you and I want you to wear it because I am RK and this is the only option you have 😆

Put aside the bashing/criticism argument, I'm laughing right now 😆 why? Because it's always the SAME members that come to give their "critical analysis" and vanish...till they wanna come back and "criticise"a bit more.

It's just so bloody obvious. Pull the other one!

As I am sure you know, the system in the UK is very different from that in India. For example, middle class here means something entirely different to what it does in India.

And the true upper classes really don't care a whit about other people's perception of them. At house parties, even important, I'm- in-VF-every-week parties, the host goes around filling people's glasses. It is all seen as being part of a good host who wants his guests to have a good time, especially as it is a cocktail and not a sit -down formal afffair. Then, of course, protocol rules. And we're talking about families that have been here since Agincourt.

As i said, connotations for serving must be different in India, hence this is shown as a big deal. It is reminiscent of UK society before the second world war. In Downton Abbey world , of course, things would have been different. Now, it's really not that big a deal.

I don't actually ever post but I'm usually sitting here replying to posts out loud as I read them so I figured it was time that I start actually responding on the baord. I get where you're coming from although I wasn't disappointed in today's episode, I really enjoyed it.

I took the scene where Radhaji was in Madhu's room differently. Sometimes the dialogue in Hindi drama's is a bit much for me but as far as the intent behind the scene I get it. Radhaji hopes that Madhu will be the one to change RK, to make him realize that he does have a heart, she herself said as much. RK told her that she's not to say anything about his dad to Madhu so Radhaji needs to encourage Madhu in some way. I think that the intent is to make Madhu realize that there is more to the man, he isn't entirely evil as he wants everyone to believe and if she can get Madhu to see that then maybe they'll have a chance. We as the audience are getting glimpses into what has made RK into man he's become but Madhu doesn't know that, she's just being given little snippets of the whole story, she needs to put the pieces together herself.

When Bittuji brought up the money in the account Madhu was sure that he wouldn't actually do what Bittuji was threatening, I'd like to think that while she knew it would go against RK's instincts as far as the game was concerned, part of her was thinking back on what Radhaji was saying, notice her surprise when he calls Karthik? (Which by the way I refuse to believe he actually did, I'm going to live in denial and say that he was just pretending to make the phone call).

My most favourite scene of the whole night was when she comes down the stairs and RK is walking towards her. It seemed so... real.. like for whatever reason both of them actually forgot about the game and were two people who were sincerely captivated by each other. While it didn't seem entirely authentic in keeping with how strongly Madhu dislikes RK, I'm okay suspending belief and watching in ignorant bliss lol

As far as the humiliation, I chalk that up to this being a Hindi drama. Do I get it? Nope, but I'm also not from India, I've only been there a handful of times so I can't say if this attitude is part of the norm, but again this is a work of fiction, I go with it because there are some things necessary to move the story along. I also don't think it was something he planned to do. The thing with RK is, every time he has anything resembling a real human moment with Madhu or feels anything stirring in that place where his heart should be, he lashes out. I think it was impulsive on his part.

I know perhaps I haven't made a lot of sense here (sometimes I tend to ramble... thus why I'm not big on message boards) and perhaps I'm just seeing this completely differently, but I mean after the week I've had I just want a fun show I can escape into and I find that finally this show is getting to the point where I actually sincerely enjoy watching it. It's the only Hindi drama I'm keeping up with now that the fall season is starting.

What a beautiful, articulate and well-argued post! Thank you. I too watched the episode again in higher quality and felt it to be less annoying. It could certainly have been crisper, and pacing it so there was one dramatic development and then an aftermath would have helped. I just felt that it was constructed very oddly, and felt as if it had been chopped in two. Perhaps the editor's doing. Someone above made a good point how they are saving the ' meat' for the episode that goes head to head against a very popular show on a rival channel on Fridays. Makes sense, but the quality of your previous episodes should not suffer for that, IMO.

Thanks for posting, and please continue to do so.

Thank you... I get what you mean about the editing. I feel that this ploy is often used to drag something out in Hindi dramas for whatever reason, today was very much the episode that sets up the payoff tomorrow (or what I'm hoping is the payoff). I would have to say that the first half of the episode could have been it's own regular episode in itself and they should have left tomorrow to be the much hyped about special episode instead.

Actually there is one single moment which didn't buy me today. Madhu's eye lock. The timing and situation did not suite for this action. she wasn't willing to attend the party. Few minutes back she got another forceful dhamki. With no choice left she dressed and came down to the stairs unwillingly. All of a sudden her mood changed and she was deeply involved in the eye lock. I some how did not like this all of sudden mood change. The director showed us this for the first time Madhus attraction. To me situation isn't perfect.
On the other hand it suited very well for RK. I liked the take on how RK was deeply involved.
The rest of the episode i dont have any complaints.
