From Bittuji's words and inspector calling them instead of taking them to Police, it is very clear this is something very common in RK's life. It seems it was RK's job to bail step duo everytime they were in trouble. So whole family is dependent on him and living off and enjoying his money. So I am having this feeling cos RK never admitted he was in the car when his car hit Mukund. And Madhu didn't see his face.
Was it really RK in his car that night or the Steppies???If so this could be a big turning point for Madhu's life. She would feel so guilty.

Also noticed when I was watching the repeat. Step Dad also said to Madhu, so you were saare fasad ki jhad.
