TT about Madhubala's 27th august episode

Wow what an amazing episode….Now this is called a classic episode delivery where the right mixture of Drama and Emotions were incorporated….And this is called Toning it down!!!

The episode started with a Tribute to A.K Hangal Saab and why not the Veteran actor though for a few mins had made one of the biggest contribution to the show, as it was he who named our lead protagonist "Madhubala".

Madhu is standing outside RK's Vanity Van when RK steps out and compliments her. He puts his arms around her waist and pulls her close….As usual he keeps taunting her and starts giving her instructions and asks her to resume her Job as RK's personal spot girl. Madhu does as asked but again gets reprimanded when RK tells her that when during the Wedding Rituals he did not allow her to walk with him, or before him how does she expect him to allow her in doing so now….Madhu gets the message and starts walking behind RK holding the Umbrella. The scene is Symbolic, though RK was trying to humiliate Madhu in the process he had entrusted her with safegaurding him, protecting him….And that's what she does then, and goes on to do in the coming scenes (Where she saves RK).

Superstar RK is shooting a Dance Seq when the most wonderful Seq in recent times takes place…..Yes Guys i repeat this is surely one of the best Sequence we have had in weeks….

This is the RK we all wanted to see, this is the Tone down we all kept wishing for, and finally it was showcased today, and with what effectiveness…..Well was there a character assassination? Did the character of RK lose the very essence of the character? "NO" there was nothing of that sort…He was very much the RK we all knew, his arrogance was intact, his attitude was top notch….There was still bitterness in him….But in-spite of all that this was the RK- The Superstar RK we all wanted to see….

Since the show started one of the most debated and discussed Topic on FB, Twitter, Forums Sites, Blogs etc was the characterization of RK. When on one side viewers and fans felt and believed that RK's character sketch was pitch perfect , the others or rather the majority felt that RK was showcased in the wrong light, he was shown to be more evil than a serial hero should be, and he was the perfect example of inhumane nature and insensitivity….Yes we all are aware of the fact that this is not the usual drama, this is not going to be like the usual love-stories yet RK in such a light was unacceptable…..When flashes of his past was shown people started seeing RK in a different light, though they knew that there must be strong reason behind him being so inhumane, so insensitive and filled with bitterness, but until the flashes of his past were shown, it was impossible for the viewers to accept it….

Once the Flashes came by the thinking started to change, and today RK earns bonus points when he looked at Madhu in astonishment that she had saved him, when he saw that she was bleeding his eyes glistened with a tinge of concern….and when he looked straight into her eyes, his eyes which forever used to showcase nothing but hatred and bitterness was overshadowed by an unknown, unspoken emotion…….His ego would not let him thank her, and even after knowing that Madhu had saved him all he could say was that Madhu did a favor on him…He asks for Medical assistance but still does not looks at her…..Like said the character of RK was at its best today….Just because the toned him down a bit, even if it was the requirement of the scene, it did not take away from the essence of the character, but rather it enhanced the beauty of it…..And Vivian Desna's performance was beyond superlative.

Again Madhu saving RK was the continuation of the above mentioned Symbolic Umbrella Seq….It was beautifully shot and executed

After days of speculation finally Raza Murad and Sikander Kharbanda have made their much awaited entry as RK's step-father and Step-brother. In fact they are the ones who supply camera/shooting equipments. From the looks of it RK does not seem to share a decent raport with his father and brother…Today RK asks Kuku Bhatia to apologize to the one that got injured (Madhu)…tomorrow what do we have in store???

Excellent episode…..This is what we expect from the Makers of Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. Yes the title itself suggests love and obsession like seen never before, but what was shown today was also Ek Ishq Ek Junoon….One can ever miss the the unspoken emotion in RK's Eyes….One can ever miss the fervor with which Madhu leaped forward to save RK, though this is the same man who promises every second of the day to make her life Hell……Truly Ek Ishq Ek Junoon!!!
