Madhu questions RK whether he knows what is family ? that he's alike an animal who just knows how to dominate the weaker ones ; hence if someone stands against him he cannot tolerate that ! the very reason being not anger or hatred but fear ! she tells him that in totality who's he ? 1 RK + his attitude or ego w/o the latter he's nothing , so but obvious he does not know exactly what families are all about !
RK lowers his eyes , his inner storm brewing where Madhu continues that
Why cannot he look into her eyes and face the truth ?
With money he has The RK Mansion all right ; but when he goes out from here no one misses him ! his presence is alike ghosts roaming about in the mansion ' she pities his family that made him like this , pities his mom who gave birth to someone like him !
RK doesn't say a word but leaves the mansion , takes his car & speeds his way to lonesome place[ all this while Madhu's words ringing in his mind] . Its beside a river where something similar to a pyre is shown burning . He takes out a rocking chair , sits on it whilst having fbs of his young age .
FB --- A young RK comes to his father and recites a poem way when he forgets in middle and so his dad completes it with him . A very happy young RK is seen . But the very next scene shows his father's dead and his mom breaking bangles & crying . RK performing the last rites to his dad following his mom's remarriage with his step dad holding his mom's shoulder !
This remarriage does not go down well with him ; he sees them with vengeance , anger & hatred

Meanwhile Madhu speaks with her mom assuring she's fine . She tells her to take care of Malik and family '. RK enters their room , Madhu sees him n cuts the call . RK looks at her , holds her hand and drags her near his bar
He reiterates that so he's an animal and that Madhu pities his upbringing n mom ! saying these he breaks bottles ; already in drunken state he crashes whatever glasses , bottles etc kept at table '
He goes to her , tightly holds her arm and says who is she to question him ? what does she know about him or his family ? he makes her look at the shattered glass pieces on floor and tells that his past is like these broken & shattered glass pieces beyond any possibility of mending !
he asks Madhu can she mend them ?
Madhu is shocked , scared and shaken up seeing him like this !
RK leaves her and sees his hand that got cut in this process of breaking bottles ; he looks at the wound and says that certain wounds are given by the world and some wounds are given by your God !
But I don't like to flaunt my bruises or suffer in self pity ! he further tells he's NOT to be blamed for Malik's condition since the latter came to his sets by himself inviting the consequences so neither Madhu or whom she considers as her God has the right to judge him !
Next time if he hears her speaking anything related to these then the bottles broken on floor next time would be ' ...he lifts his hand carrying the bottle to signify next time it'd be her head , but halts mid-way sensing someone
Entry of RK's mom who looks at the mess created by her son . RK looks at her and says some wounds when kept closer to your heart becomes a sore , I've one such wound close to my heart .
