Rishabh : Kya kahaa tha tumne mujhse? Ki main iss ghar mein bhooton ki tarah goomta rehtaa hoon.😲
Heeheee. Trust Mr. Jaanwar Kundra and Mrs. Horlicks Jaanwar Kundra to come up with some cuteness even in such high voltage episodes.
Phewww! Ek baat bataao zaraa? Ye Maddy ne aaj kitne glass Horlicks piya tha? Matlab, bandee ne literally Rishabh ki lagaa di. Lagaa di as in Rishabh ko dho daala aur wo bhi binaa paani aur washing machine ke. Goodies. Rishabh ko aise acche se dhoyegi , to 5-6 reaction movements ke baad line pe aa jaayega.
Seriously, donno ne ek doosre ko kya dhoyaa hai aaj.
Anyway, jokes apart. Today's episode was divided into two parts.
1. Maddy following Rishabh like an obsessed stalker saas and sunaaoing him jali-kati baatin like a saas ' to the extent ki bandaa car ki chaabi uthaake ghar se hi bhaag gayaa.
2. Rishabh dragging Maddy to the bar area ( now, you know why the mansion is so big? Dono ke drag-drag khelne mein kaam aata hai) ' and bajaaoing her right-left-center to the extent ki Maddy ko lagaa wo Alfred Hitchcock ki 'Psycho' face-to-face dekh rahi hai.
Both Maddy and Rishabh were on their extremes today -Maddy with her confrontational "aaj main iski bajaa ke chhodungi" mode where she literally ripped Rishabh apart like a shredded ribbon with , perhaps, the worst things you can tell someone . She wanted to hurt him and she wanted to hurt him badly. Everytime, Rishabh controlled himself and tried to turn away and leave , she would go and encircle him 360 degrees and force him to look at her . She was worse than an obsessed fangirl- meri taraf nahiin dekhte? Bloody, kaise nahiin dekhoge , hain? 😡 Maddy totally vomited on Rishabh today - saare Ekta Kapoor ke shows ke screenplays ki jalee katti oven mein baked baatein sunaa daali. From a monster to a scared loser - from a black blot on somebody's bloodline to being a shame in the name of a human being - everything you can possibly tell someone to make them feel that they are dhartee pe bojh.😲
Maddy was hurt , angry , boiling and Ballu's blood rushed up. She totally devastated Rishabh today - not just touching a soft spot , but literally pulling out his veins with her bare hands. I don't think she even understood he meaning and impact of half the things she told Rishabh in her rampage. Wo bas gussa thi aur saturated thi - Rishabh ne phir munh kholaa aur bechaara pit gaya.
You can very well understand the limit of it when you see a man like him , leave his own house and just run out . At that point , he could not stand in that room with Maddy - it would have killed him - it was killing him and so, the beast ran out .
Aur Maddy ke kya majje hain? Patee baahar 1970s ka Amitabh banke frustoo ho rahaa hai aur ye madam saara raayeta failaa ke, aaram se taang pe taang rakh ke , AC room mein Paddy se gappein hank rahi hai. Khabardaar, jo abb Maddy ke guts ko underestimate kiyaa to!
Coming to Rishabh, his problem is not as complicated as it seems - its simple, clear, in-your-face . A 12 year old child trapped in a phase of his life that has been gone for 17 years. He could never forget his father or release himself from his memory and love - he could not deal with his mother going for a second marriage and another man touching her and taking over as her husband. Most children cannot live with it - not at the age of 12 at least, when you understand everything and you know what attachment means.
The problem is that when Rishabh was 12, this insecurity , this anger at the 'betrayal' of his mother to her father and his memory should have been 'attended to'. He should have been dealt with - should have been assured , nurtured and given an emotional security . At 12. But that did not happen , it seems. The new father and family stay detached.
For 17 years , he lived this alienation, this bitter relationship with his mother , his inability to accept the new family - and as age went by , this alienation , this sense of betrayal ran deeper and deeper . Now, when he is 29 years old, those small wounds have turned into a septic.
Childhood issues always produce an alienated complicated adult. That's Rishabh.
17 years later, a woman comes and tells him that he is a hollow joke on legs , crashing his hardwork of 17 years to build a cocoon that will protect him . And tell me how will you react , if I jab my hand into your chest and pull out your heart? You will scream a scream that will echo to the sky. Rishabh's mom saw it in his eyes and that is why there was this helpless worry and apology on her face , not anger at the state she saw her son in.
The entire scene in the bar area was a raw display of what Rishabh actually is - shattered, broken, lifeless. His stardom and his house are his life thread - the only things that keep him alive.
Maddy has seen a demonic but vulnerable side of Rishabh where he has converted all the emotional issues and pain into a violent outburst. She is shocked, angry, scared but above all, she is his release button. She has seen so many sides of him and now, his Mom looks equally wounded by her son's pain. If she has to put Rishabh back brick-by-brick, she will need to know him, handle him like the back of her hand.
Rishabh asked Maddy a very valid question when he grabbed her and asked her to look at the broken glass pieces ' Jodh sakti ho tum inhe? Nahiin na?
Valid point. After all, who in the world would love a beast?
