The trend to question the author is on the rise...

I don't know if its a good or a bad thing.

Anyways, Avi, this piece of the story, though told indirectly, has not been covered from her perspective.

Hmm! Why would you think she is marrying Binoy to run from Rishabh? Binoy proposed and she accepted.

Rishabh did not propose marriage at the green room- he asked her to leave the man whoever she was betrothed to - who at that point did not exist.

Second, Rishabh did not surface into her life until the day he showed up at the airport. Again, she didn't pursue him until then either. So...😊 I don't think we can quite put it the way you do - which is she is going to the extent of marrying binoy to hide from Rishabh.

Oh, I was thinking it was something that she felt for him that scared her from being with him. Sometimes overwhelming feelings for someone have been known to happen, you just can't decide how to respond...

She may not have been in front of him all these days but there were all those phone calls...

Questioning the author, hmmm, how else will we get to the root of 'Madhubala', the mysterious woman? For those that are familiar with cricket it is called throwing a spin ball or a googly into an attempt to get to the next step. Also it helps to bug the author into an early update...😊

Hmm...

So, this is what the story timeline looks like.

August

-------They meet in Marine Drive.

----- He climbs into her room and tells her that he knows her name

--- The phone calls begin

-The green room incident - Nevermore after which he stops all form of contact with her

(There was a gap of about 3 months here - You can find that detail from Know thy enemy update)

December

- She meets Binoy

February

- Binoy Proposes marriage and she accepts eventually.

July of the next year

- The Book scandal

August

- He shows up at the airport

--- He climbs into her room

----- He shows up at her Mehendi

-------They go for a drive the night before her wedding.

But, to answer your point, the attraction for him was always there. Whether it was a propellant or not, is for her to answer.
