TRP's : Should we care about the damn thing? - Page 2

Thanks for the post and the article included.

Hope everyone in the forum reads it and realises that one can't just turn on the TV set five minutes before a show is to begin to contribute to the TRPS!!

I wrote something on these lines...though of course, nothing as detailed and specific as the article you included, in the forum of the previous show we watched and got struck down by practically everyone, including the Mod! Since then, I've given up making people understand the reality of things.

What I don't understand is this...why do the actors tell us to watch the show at the time it begins on TV and not in on the Net when they know very well how Trps are computed??

The TRP system itself is so messed up...

thanks for the article its crazy what you can trigger now adays for TRP's and there is sooo much hype surrounding it as well...suppose there is no true reflection on how well a show does but thne it is used hugely to sum up the success of a show its sad times that we are sooo obsessed with TRP thats whether its manipulated or not will still effect how a show is perceived 😕
