MADHUBALA EK ISHQ EK JUNOON
7/27/12
Paulo Coelho's words in his novel " The Manual of the Warrior of Light" reminded meof Madhu and her plight—– unwittingly fighting an unexpected battle with an unseen and unknown enemy—which says, "Often during combat, the warrior of light receives blows that he was not expecting. And he realizes that, during a war, his enemyis bound to win some of the battles. When this happens, the warrior of light weeps bitter tears and rests in order to recover his energies a little. But he immediately resumes the battle for his dreams ."
Even though unbeknown to her, the "Dark Warrior" RK had dealt unexpected and underhand blows which compelled Madhu the "Warrior of Light" to weep bitter tears —-the strength of her family and Padmini's mantra re-energized her to resume the battle to save her dreams of a future with Mukund. This is also what gave her the courage to accompany Mallik to RK's home , in order to request him to refute all the newspaper headlines maligning her character . I was really amazed to see RK's sadistic pleasure in making her and Mallik wait for two hours before giving them an "audience". RK's words that he was not yet satiated with Madhu's plight, but was thirsty for further revenge makes me really question his sanity. Mukund really turned outto be a Momma's boy and a wimp in my opinion—–all he could say after Mrs. Dixit's barrage of innuendos and insults to his fianc Madhu was "sorry"??? At least Roma and Trish were ready to give Madhu moral support for once —–but I have a sneaking feeling that Trish would've really relished being in the headlines as RK's "item" insteadof Madhu—-All in all an emotionally draining experience for Madhu , compounded by Mallik's ailing health and RK's schmucky attitude . Well , I guess we just have to wait and see what other battles the warrior of "light" will have to fight against the ill intentioned "dark" warrior in future episodes !
