Prashant Bhatt was first a character artist with Balaji Telefilms and then, he leaped to the creative side. He has done lots of Ekta Kapoor shows as a creative head and then, he branched to other PHs. He was known as a show-setter because he set up shows really well - from sets to the look to the story and the final output. Looking at his success rate, COLORS roped him in as the fiction head.
Colours has shown different kinds of Shaadis. Like in Uttaran, BV. But this is the first of this kind.
