I feel only a bit bad for him and my POV is that armaan got his karma.

Yrkkh gave many characters their karma kaveri, sanjay, vidya(lost rohit), etc.Even charu died as she had ema with abhir and broke kiaras marriage.

I cannot feel that he is the most bichara.

If it happened with armaan before the baccha chori kaand i would have felt really bad for him.If even this happened with anshuman coz he is a good guy.
