Let us not blame MM romance or Mukund for the drop in TRPs. Frankly , none of us here have a clue what works for re 'TRP audience' out there . If what we ( on the forum ) mattered as much , TRPs would have sky rocketed since RK's entry . But that ain't the case.
I think what is working against the show is the lack of family drama and the usual OTT stuff , something that was in abundance in the first 3 weeks and is non existent now .
@ Pippa
She's like any other normal girl . She respects her fianc and wants to believe she's in love with him .From today's episode I get that she wants to fall in love with her fianc which is only natural . What she feels for RK is only something very raw ,
perhaps attraction ( based on the last
2 episodes ) right now .
Nothing wrong with it . Thats what makes the two relationships ( with M and RK ) more real and convincing . I would hate to see Madhu give Mukynd a cold shoulder and not feel a thing towards him because of her new found attraction towards RK . Doesn't happen that way in real life . You can feel for two people at the same time .
I know mine will not be the popular opinion . Will be surprised if even a single soul agrees with me . In order to show Madhu devestated / shattered , it's important to show her affected by Mukund to a small extent atleast .
What baffles me is why RK's screen space has been compromised . They can show him shooting , dancing around and so many other things along with MM romance . He's the lead , for cryin out loud . Is the actor unavailable ? Or purely a " creative " decision ?
I agree with you totally...
I believe that the MaMu track is necessary to the show...have said it several times in the forum ...MB is like any ordinary girl with very little aspirations and no expectations of love, at least the dangerous and passionate kind of love. And, her accepting Muku's proposal may be largely due to her mother's profound advice that it's better to marry someone who loves you more than you love him,...and seeing her mother's trauma, she thinks this is the best deal for her.
Also, this relationship is imp as far as her learning what real Ishq and junoon mean.
My contention and confusion was the way MB was acting today...one moment she looked uncomfortable with Mukund's romantic words and in the next, she was giving him shy under the eyelids looks...it was giving me, the viewer mixed signals. Perhaps, the wrong signals are coming from the director and is not MB's fault.
Yes, I also agree that the PH is misusing VD ...they rarely show him doing his job as an actor...I would really like to know why a superstar spends such inordinate time and money over an ordinary girl to teach her a lesson...he does it to the exclusion of all else...I wish they give us some inkling about his upbringing so that we may know what makes him the way he is.
