As we all know that Mukund loves Madhubala whereas Madhubala is alil unsure about her feelings for Mukund, to be specific she is actually not yet in love with him but hopes to eventually fall in love.
I believe RK knows this fact and constantly takes advantage by always probing on the idea of Mukund and Madhubala as a couple. He develops an insecurity and anxiety within Madhubala and these emotions were very clearly portrayed by Madhubala during the engagement.
Now the second point, I wanted to share with you lovely people:
I have always interpreted RK's character as impulsive, selfish but also charming and there is something about him which attracts women of all ages. And I was very...well... very amazed to see a slight attraction/admiration in Madhubala's eyes for RK. I realise she doesnt trust him and is not that big of a fan of him BUT you have to watch the engagement scenes VERY CAREFULLY to see that little curiosity in her eyes. She at some points even made the effort to see his reactions.

In the previous episode, When RK leaves the bathroom where Madhubala was...Mukund comes in and holds Madhubala. When he hugs her, he says "Is that heart which is beating so strongly...mine or yours". I interpreted that dialogue as Madhubala's heart racing due to RK's presence.
