Adding one more point here...

Cvs pls focus on rk and madhu not on mukund and his ayi..pls give importance to leads and make madhu's character strong..

You made very pertinent points about the characterizations.

It's as though the cvs were totally confounded by the brief they received and consequently got their wires crossed.

What logic would explain Madhu's 'palti' where her relationship with Mukund was concerned?
It was as though her rejection of Mukund's love never happened.

I also agree that Madhu and her family had no need to take the crap dished out by the banshee mom. It wasn't as if Madhu had a problem getting married and that no 'rishata' was happening.
Heck! Marriage was never on her mind. So, they could very well have told the Dixit family to go fly a kite.

However, the cvs had to have an engagement by hook or by crook in order for RK's badnami plan to work...and the cvs went about it in the most ham-handed and unconvincing manner possible.

I really hope they don't resort to such ridiculous short-cuts in future. It will definitely put their credibility at stake!

The love story was supposed to be of RK and MB instead the focus has been on a insipid Mukund and his vitriolic mother. MB /Muk Lovestory lacks chemistry big time, they look like friends... that is it.. misplaced love

Who wants to watch that crap? not me for sure...

Also every serial that has focused on the wrong pairs has had to close.. remember DEK on Sony - wrong pair focus.serial is now ending coz TRP's kept dropping and no one wanted to see Monya and Akash together!!!! CV's changed tracks too late !!

That vitriolic mother plays Savita in another Zee serial and everytime she comes on, we change channels so if they keep focusing on her we wl change channels here too...l.
