Even i dont dislike MaMu...They are cute...😉

But the problem is that, rt from the beginning everyone was anticipating Madhu-RK romance...
Everyone started imagining DD with Vivian...😍

Nobody expected Mukund to come in between...He was actually a surprise entry...
So i guess, that's y people are little negative towards his Character!

Even though i prefer Madhu with RK...i think Mukund's character will be a tool for the cv's to take the story forward..
Otherwise it would be too straight forward!!.

@Azmatazz... yep I agree that a character such as mukund was required in the story.. but more for Madhu than for anything else..

Cause however contrary it may sound to my opinion of how they are mismatched, its natural for the simple and unambitious character of Madhu to find a companion in Mukund, to accept him with all his shortcomings.

As for her stubbornness , i agree, its the genes and the truck load of history that comes with it;).. In fact this incident is the trigger that would unmask the fighter in her..

Its because Mukund is your good guy-next-door whilst RK is the hero and badass to boot! No matter how many times women get hurt, they will still be attracted to the bad guy than the good guy! All that talk of girls looking for someone like their daddy has become old news (no offence to girls with daddies like RK!! 😆)

And on top of that...RK's got the looks, the bod, the dramatic entries, the expressions, the background music, the superstar tag...not to mention that he has already been touted as the male lead. What can the average female viewer do but drool?! D'you know when Hrithik Roshan became the craze in early 2000s, so many girls left their bfs coz they weren't macho enough or good-looking enough?!

But yea, its just silly, stupid human nature! Also I think its because most of us haven't a chance in hell of meeting a dark, brooding, dashing man like RK (sorry girls, there is an oversupply of Mukunds in real life...which honestly is something to be thankful about!)...so they fantastise and idolise a character like RK.

Wow...sorry for the essay...!! Just deciphering human nature but am sure u know all of this already 😛

I suppose all you need to create a hit jodi is to cast a dashing bloke, with a Salman Khan-esque body and plenty of dramatic dialogues/scenes/music. The character, ofcourse, hardly ever matters on Indian television.

I have no idea where this obsession with dark, passionate and star-crossed love stories has originated from. Heck, I would prefer Kekta's melodramatic and cliched love stories over this unhealthy obsession any day. It's not just in India, and Twilight is probably the best example of that.

Sorry for going off on a tangent here, but hating a jodi simply because the lead actor is not good enough to be fantasized about, is just silly. But I guess that's how it is.

A good observation ninand!! 😆 This incidence was needed to show the other side to Madhu. Though I don't think we should so quickly dismiss Mukund's character either. Oh i don't mean as someone she'll end up with, but I think he may not be as weak as shown. Frustration can make people despair, and he is young after all...and look at the sort of parents he's got!! That's a nightmare in itself. Besides, many marriages do work where one partner is more strong-willed than the other! All that about opposites attracting.

I have to admit even I was surprised by the hatred for Mukund. He doesn't seem like a bad person but a simple, nice guy. I kind of liked watching some of the Mukund-Madhu scenes. But yes, ultimately, it would be RK and Madhu who'll end up together...and I guess Mukund will contribute to the story progression.

Haha..u telling me m'dear!!! Don't I know and see it already! Just thought I should put it into so many words for everyone, bitter though it undoubtedly is. You see it all the time and trying to make sense of it is futile!

hello there.. while i do visit this part of the forum daily, i too haven't posted more than a couple times i think..

anyway, sidelined I am sure you are not:).. Even I started watching this show wiith an open mind although my reasons were a bit on the off side;)..(I didn't expect much of Vivian Dsena honestly).. so..

But when Mukund made an entry, I could see why Madhu will be in a way, drawn towards him(the way they firs met, the bus scene, the pepper spray were quite sweet actually).. although, this liking she has for him,I would attribute more to compassion, now (his accident and the obvious lack of understanding from his family) .. and this is what made me start disliking Mukund for Madhu ..

its not a crime being an average guy, like Madhu says.. but Mukund's constant self-depreciation irks me. The way he blew up feeling all sorry for himself when Madhu's family and friends threw him out,,
I was willing to overlook that too, given the circumstances that he did leave the previous company even though they were pleased with his work just to take responsibility,.. yes, it was an honest effort..

but later on in the hospital, he cut a very sorry figure somehow.. acting out to get his parent's sympathy, lying dumb when Madhu and his parents do the arguing with the cop.. even , wanting to let the perpetrator walk and not lodge a complaint against him..

To put it straight, with every episode , Madhu comes out stronger and more determined, and his character is a bit too weak to match up to her.. so while its interesting to see Madhu getting drawn in into the battle , and into his family unknowingly, I am definitely not looking for a romantic kind of bonding between them, cause they are just not in the same league.

See that's what I'm saying, he's a regular guy with flaws of an everyday man. Not all men fall within the boundaries of the conventional 'mardangi'. He may be weak in some aspects of his life, and I'm sure there is an explanation for it, just like there is an explanation for Madhu's over-indulgent behavior towards justice and insaaf. Perhaps having the burden of the entire family has softened his spine. But that itself is strength according to me. So one might not have strength for everyone to see, but a kind of strength that allows his/her family to breathe peacefully everyday.

Infact, I sort of enjoy this role reversal for a change. We have seen the combination of a meek, shy girl and a strong, egoistic boy far too many times to feel engaged (or that's just how I feel)

Hypothetically, if Madhu and Mukund ever got together, we can already see how Madhu would consistently be his strength, and Mukund would be the stabilizing factor in her life, because as we have seen, she tends to react long before her brain boots up 😆

I just don't get why the most people are hating on Mukund.. there's nothinggg to hate about... he's cute,simple.. the interaction between Mukund and Madhu the same... sometimes I just don't understand people or better say girls.. even if I'm one myself.. 😆

Trust me, I overdose on that thought everyday 🤔 😆 Infact I wonder what will happen to the world economy if the collective brain cells of all women (and that includes productive ones too) are invested in thinking about crap like this. 😲
