Okay, I just have to get this out!
Is the channel team on this show half asleep when they see the master tape before telecast? Or are the creatives sitting at edits to finalize the episode busy on their Blackberries while cutting the precap for the next day? The precap brings the audience back for the next episode. So, while today's precap should have been about Inspector Pradhan's entry , what we got was that sobtruck Mukku and Madhu trying to wake him up. You don't have the least bit common sense that the audience would be more interested in that inspector getting besotted with Madhu than a scene whose outcome the audience already knows? This is another reason TRPs suffer. Look at Balika Vadhu, no matter how much you like or hate that show , it has the most dramatic precaps and that is for the record.
Anyway, I loved the lecherous besotted inspector and his puppy dog eyes for Madhu. This is what a fine actor is – just look at the transformation of Pradhan's expressions as he sets his eyes on Madhu. Totally swept away by her lyrical beauty in the 'wrong' way. His dialogues, his dialogue delivery, his mannerisms – APPLAUSE. Pradhan and Madhu are what you should look out for – Madhu's innocence and trust set in conjunction with Pradhan's evil naughty eye.
For the rest? Madhu and Mukku's scene was diabetes –inducing. Madhu and Pradhan were the only saving grace. Mukku doesn't register with me because of his ' Main bechaara' act and i am opaque to such people – both in reel and real life- self sympathy is like a major put off with me. Sowwie!
Oh and oh, Pradhan ka solid RK intro to Madhu in the precap. RK sounds like some dinosaur and Pradhan's warning look to Madhu simply says – RUN BABY, RUN.
Lastly, I saw RK's promo . RK's dialogue sums up his and Madhubala's story:
" Aag ka dariya hai, doob ke jaana hai. Aur uss kinaare , main tumharaa intezaar karunga."
True. RK will put Madhu through hell – personally, professionally, pushing his own limits to push her to her breaking point. And when all is done, all destroyed – he will be right there, waiting at the end. Her destroyer but her resurrection as well.
P.S – RK, saare tharak ke peepe tere maal ke peecche pade hain. Style ko rakh side mein, aur jaake apni HoneyBaala ko sambhaal. Khoob makhiyaan bhin bhinaa rahi hain.
