wow passion is a reactor sometimes especially for fans 😉

i have watched the episode 3 times now and i can honestly say that having 6 months break was the best thing for DD as watching drashti now in a new character is very refreshing...i think all are right and it is an adjustment factor for fans and drashti 😛

opinions are a great thing but the portrayal of them is what make a great opinion 😃

god. agar koi apna opinion de toh log baraas partey hai. at the end of the day , these people are actors who grow , evolve and prosper as humans and as actors with every show..nobody is perfect and everybody improves with every challenge and new shades of their career taking place..nobody is a princess or queen or king of acting not even actors like rani or nassirudin shah as they themselves said and believe that even though spending so many years in this industry..they still know that they learn more and grow more as actors everyday.sky is the limit..and same goes for dd..its us jo inn logon ko aasmaan pe bithaa dete hai..lekin yeh bhool jaatey hai..that they are also people just like us trying and improving as actors everyday...thats why the TM said she is good but she can do better as sky is the limit..iske liye itne arguments? fandom is nice..but fanaticism is what makes it insane and over the top. lets respect the TMs opinion . good post , TM.DD bhi ek insaan hai jo improve aur grow karti hai..o whats their to get so angry about? koi bhi "princess" ya "angel" ya "sunshine" hone se peheley actors hai jo roz improve kartey hai cause even "princesses" have flaws. go figure.

Okay guys, let's get something cleared up. Geet discussions or talking about Drashti's portrayal as Geet and comparing it to her portrayal of Madhubala is wrong.

DD just started working on her role as Madhubala and she put a lot of effort into it just like she put a lot of effort into her role as Geet.

Since this is the Madhubala forum, only talks about Madhubala, the show and it's characters/actors is allowed. If there is a need to talk about her role as Geet in comparison to Madhubala is NOT allowed.

So please don't turn it into a war zone. It was just an opinion of the member, and that they think DD and her best role is yet to come.

Opinions are allowed. Give her a chance to portray Madhubala. She just had 2 episodes and there are many more to come.

Comparisons are not allowed. Opinions are allowed and stop bringing Geet into the Madhubala forum. DD was awesome as Geet, and she is awesome and charming as Madhubala. They are completely different roles.

Don't turn this into a warzone. Fans are supposed to stay united, not break apart.

Please understand this.

I am leaving this topic open for further discussion which does not relate back to her role as Geet. If I see another comment mentioning Geet than this thread will be closed down without a note.

It def wasn't how I envisioned her character, but I think she was natural and there was different so effortless about her acting. She doesn't try to BE the character, but IS the character. I think it's def hard to see her in a new image and especially in a character that's a stark contrast to her off-screen personality. But she nailed the part from the word action IMHO. I def see her only going up from here b/c the story is also going to get more gripping after the initial phase of full character development is accomplished.

I definitely do not understand this. and I am compelled to put forth my view.

It might be wrong to compare Geet and Madhubala... but how is it wrong to compare the work of the actor who played both parts?!

its a constructive and a healthy criticism/comparision! I do not understand why people on this forum get so sensitive if their favorite actors/shows are criticized even the slightest bit even with the best intentions at heart?!

Being a fan does not mean being deaf , and dumb and blind to flaws.. we are not 'condemning' or crucifying' or 'bashing' anyone.

sad really, that there's such blatant intolerance towards decent but different and honest opinion.
