The pretty lady indeed has a huge fan following and she is all thankful to her enthusiasts, who as per her have always supported her work. As Geet went off air, Drashti took a short sabbatical of sort and was fully busy catching up with friends and enjoying the leisure time she had got after a long term of hard work. But now she is back to limelight, credit her much talked about role in Colors' ongoing Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon.
Talking of her role, she said, "Madhubala, a typical Mumbaikar. She's a shy girl with no ambition and only wants to live a simple life. The film set is her second home as her mother is a junior artist. Madhubala doesn't dream of being in the movies, stardom is forced on her."
It is notable that while she was busy with Geet, her on-screen chemistry with co-star Gurmeet Choudhary had led to strong rumors about the link-up of the two. When Drashti was quizzed about such affair tales and was asked the reason behind not clearing the air, she stated, "I give justification only when I feel it is required. I don't bother much about rumors". She says that she is here to work and such rumors never hinder her path.
Well said Drashti and we hope that you set a new record of success with Madhubala!
