yeap i also think so because as per promo baby girl was born in1991 and DD is shown as that gorwn up baby...so if she is 20-21 then its the story in present (2011-2012) may be they will start the show with few episodes showing baby girl growing up and all and DD's entry will come after few episodes...or there might be lots of flashback scenes...either way its going to b very interesting...atleast not a standard copycating as it happens in the Television industry...i think DD has made a great choice by picking this show up as a challenge as producers n director has taken a huge challenge in the form of male lead. i personally would like the story set in bit in yesteryears though...ppl keep posting yr views...its fun...

In the segment - Drashti & Vivian clarify that the show isn't about Madhubala, the actress - it's rather a serial on the film fraternity with a distinct story.

From the promo, I thought the show might be set in the past but I think it will be in the present itself - Madhubala, the character, being born in 1991...
