Abha and Karthik's phaldaan begins. Kaveri is stunned to know that Bhaskar has invited Avani's saviour to the ceremony. Kaveri tells Avani to stop the person from coming to the ceremony, but Suryakant arrives at the venue before she can do so.



Avni is stunned as she recognises her father, But Kaveri stops her from saying anything .The priest asks for any respectable elder male uncle or even elder brother to sit in place of the girl's father . Avni's aunt says she does not think kaka would turn up. Bhaskar insists since suryakant gave a new life to Avni by saving her , he can sit in place of Avni's father
