episode begins with Bhavni at avni's boss house for lunch. maskare is also there n bhasku gets annoyed on seeing him. he tells avni that she knew he was coming thats why she took extra care in geting ready... avni says that she was totally unaware.
boss then comes n thanks maskare for sply coming with a office file to his house. maskare then leaves.
@ dinning table:
boss is telling about his children who are settled abroad. bhaskar's brain starts working. he immediately asks about the salary that they must be getting abroad. avni tries to change the topic but he doesnt listen. boss then mentions about the salary. bhaskar says, " badi moti salary milti hai. overtime, ppf etc bhi hoga na" boss is all silent...he doesnt wants to answer this question. avni understands this n asks bhasku why is he interested so much. he says that they should know about it as they may also go there one day so they should have some idea. avni says that since they arent going anywhere so it hardly matters.
after the lunch boss gives them an envelope. bhasku thinks it has some money. boss then tells that he has booked a 5 day holiday for them in Ooty. avni refuses to take it but bhaskar simply takes it without hesitating.
@kartik's house:
kartik's sisters are introduced. his elder sister is a lawyer n strongly advocates women empowerment. she is speaking on the phone n constantly saying that she hates all women who treat their husbands as their life n thinks too much about them n also those who take so much crap from them.
currently she is advising a client on taking a divorce from her husband when the client is herself not interested.
kartik comes n asks her why is she doing all this. why does she hates all men? n why is she behaving like this with her own husband? he says that her husband has been calling all day n she isnt ready to listen to him...
she says that she hates all men. n also says that she a well educated, working, independent women who can support her life so she doesnt need to take all crap from her husband.
second sister comes n says that jija ji is on the phone. she says that tell him that soon divorce papers will reach his home n then she l personally call him.
@bhavni's house:
they both enter after the lunch. bhasku tells neeta to bring some water. she doesnt stand up a bit. avni says she l bring it. bhasku looks at neeta in a disgusting way. the moment avni goes both neeta n anju just jump on the gifts that avni got from her boss.
bhaskar tels them to stay away from all that. he then tells them that boss has given them a honey moon voucher of 5 days.
ayi starts with her plan for ruining the honeymoon. she insists that avni should tell her boss to give money equivalent to the package that is Rs. 50,000. bhaskar also takes her side n tells avni to ask for money instead.
@next day @ avni's office:
avni n usha are in the canteen. its the first day of the month n they have got their salary. usha says that 1st day of the month is always so empowering. she then asks avni if boss gave her something after the lunch. avni tells her about the honeymoon package n also about what bhaskar n his ayi wants her to do.
usha says that she has started to hate bhaskar. she then mentions thats she fears it that some day bhaskar would stop her from giving her salary to her ayi.
avni then speaks in a confident n adamant tone that she will not let her ayi suffer due to bhaskar's " lalchi" nature. her salary is only her ayi's n nothing or no one can take this right from her.
