Avni's house
everyone is busy preparing for the engagement, there is excitement all around. Avni's brother Manohar (manu) is busy decorating the house. Avni has gone out to buy some imp stuff......😕 mausi ( a vendor who sits infront of avni's house but is v close to the family) scolds avni's ayi for sendin her out on the day of her engagement. she says that instead of avni mau should have gone..... avni's sister intrupts n says, " Manu?? vo kuch kaam karta bhi hai?? bas time waste kar sakta hai" avni's ayi gets into defensive mode (as usual) n becomes her son's defense lawyer....!avni returns from the market. her mother tels her that as their father is not with them she (avni) has to all the work...
avni gives a consoling answer n tries to cheer her up 😊
(i bet if manu starts workin half of avni's tension wil go............😕)
avni's kaki gets her own jewelry n sari for avni. however, avni refuses to wear. she says that she doesnt want bhaskar n his family to have any wrong impression about their financial position.....👏

as usual neetu is all busy doin make up 😆 anju enters with a swallon face. bhaskar ayi coments anju on her mood.. neetu says , tai ka mood tp bachpan se aisa hai....." 😆😆
anju picks up an apple from a "tokari" prepared for the shagun......😕
bhaskar comes running n stops her. he says, yeh sab un logon ke lye hai.....hamari taraf se shagun hai.....haath mat lga"
anju tels him, "ek seb (apple) kha liya to kya hua" bhaskar gives her a disgustin look.....😆
baskar's ayi .........at her best.......removes some of the fruit from the basket n keeps it for herself......😡
anju gets hold of the sari's that bhaskar brought for avni.....😳
she demands that she wants one of them n snatches it from bhaskar.
he snatches the sari from her....😆 (loved the way bro-sis fought)
bhaskar tells his sister that saris are for avni n her family......
anju starts with her crying drama .....bhaskar gets too iritated. his mom gives the sari to anju....bhaskar looks at her astonished 😕

bhaskar n her family reaches avni's place they are welcomed wamly. kaveri tels them avni is getin ready and they start with the ceremony soon. bhaskar's ayi gets furious and speaks in an overpwering tone......" aise kaise sagai shuru ho jayegi?? pehle hamara damad (son in law) aa jaye tab shuru karenge na"
avni's ayi nods and says ok........ bhaskar's ayi gets all the more overpowering n disgusted she says, " kya theek hai? daamad pta hai kya hota hai..........uski kitni importance hoti hai....😡 jaise bhaskar apke liye khaas hai vaise prabhu hamare liye khaas hai....uski khatirdari mein kaami nahi honi chahiye. daamad ke samne hamari naak nahi katni chahiye.."😡😡
bhaskar keeps stopin his mom wile she uters all the non sense. avni's ayi gets tensed ........😕 and goes away.
bhaskar tells her mother to keep her mouth shut til the mariage👏
but she says, " abhi se en logon ko dba k rakhna padega"........(we need to overpower them from the very begining) 😲😡

avni's ayi gets tensed on hearin all the rubish from bhaskar's mother. she says that she has prepared "shagun" as per her own pocket as bhaskar's family didnt make any demand........
avni's kaki tels her not tow wory n insists on letin her give the shagun.
kaveri hesitates. however, kaki tels her that she doesnt want anyone to point fingers at avni n also she has lot of "armaan" atachted with avni's weding...
in the courtyard
avni's sister aditi is serving food to all of them. bhaskar's ayi inquires as who wil start the ceremony.......(that means a male member)
aditi tels her that manu wil be doing it. bhaskar's ayi smiles n says,
"vo to chotta hai" ...."avni ke kaka kahan hai?"
avni's kaki is at loss of words but somehow manages the situation n tels that he is busy in a meetin n wil come here soon....😕
bhaskar's elder sister anju ......(drama queen) raises the ques of avni's dad. she inquires about him in a most rude manner. she uters total nonsense n says, "avni ke baba kahan hai? pandit ji ne bola tha k vo hai nahi....matlab kya guzar gaye hai? (is he no more).....
bhaskar n his dad tels her to shut up.......but as usual she goes on,
"avni ki ayi sindur managlsutra pehnti hai par uske baba hai kahan?"
avni's ayi who is standin at a distant n starts crying........😭😭
