Which Police leave proof with others ?

I know by now that creatives twist law whichever way they want but .....

Which police , after making an arrest , leave proof with sumone in the family concerned with the arrest ? The prosecution or the government's lawyer ....acting on behalf of the police takes any proof into their control.....whether it is evidence of finger prints , post martem findings , or a tape . As they have to present it in court and ask for a trial . It is not Jeet's or any civilian's responsibility to present proof in court , its the police ! From where do they bring thsese script writers .....from some village in Sholay like Ramgadh ?

i agree...i don't understand why the police would leave the proof or evidence with Jeet... 👎🏼 they should be the ones taking it with them 😕 . His family could have heard the tape in court when they let the judge listen to it...so weird!
