Hi all...today's episode is harder to update so forgive me if it sounds dry and before I forget when I updated yesterday---where is Simran anyway? Who is taking care of her? Everyone was at the jaagrata-even if they had left her in Jeet's care...he too is here. Ok-sorry on with the update.
-Soni is standing in her 'roop' when Prem comes from behind. He is actually scared because she has taken on this altogether new form and daring him to try to hurt her. She tells him he must have dirtied his hand with countless slaughters but today she will show him how it feels. She asks him why he killed off her entire family-all that she had and they haggle over the trident. (If only Soni could take on THIS form when Durga is around!!!)
-With this happening-Veer, Jeet,Shabd/Mahi run in along with the police and see what's happening. Veer is aiming the gun to shoot but it is hard because Soni-Prem are moving around (I guess the cop let him go ahead cuz he was a cop???). Mahi tells Veer not to shoot because Soni could get hurt and Veer just looks back to aim nonetheless (actually he looks away w/this expression of 'Mahi shut up'). He shoots and it misses but both Prem and Soni turn around...Prem goes to grab Soni but runs into the trident and is down. Mahi goes over to Soni and so do Veer and Shabd.
-Now comes officially the slowest gun-grabbing scene ever...Prem who is down ever so slowly reaches for the gun unknowing to anyone (and I mean slow)...meanwhile Veer, Soni and Mahi are standing nearby...Veer says 'chalo Soni' and just then Prem aims and shoots at Veer. Soni yells out 'Veer' and all are frozen-shocked as he falls to the ground.
-An unconscious Veer is being rushed in on a hospital gerney with Soni (holding his hand and the 'jhonka hawa ka' music is playing), Jeet, Shabd, and Mahi by his side. He is rushed in while the others wait outside. Jeet is a wreck and Soni is in a state of shock (sometimes it's hard to tell). Jeet asks the doc if Veer will be okay but the doc says anything is possible right now with the unstable condition. Soni and Jeet are really worried.
-At home the Khurranas are worried abt the kids when Jeet calls Mr. K asks their whereabouts. Jeet tells Mr. Khurrana that Veer saved Soni but Veer has been shot. He tells Mr. K not tell Durga as she won't be able to handle it. Mr. K hides it from the women even after Durga's repeatedly asking if everything is okay and if Veer is okay and heads off to the hospital-Durga is scared and tells Lovely she knows something is wrong though Mr. K is not telling.
-All are at the hospital waiting and worried. T/T who are also there comfort Soni and Jeet who are both upset telling them that Maatarani won't let anything happen to her children. Mr. K walks in Jeet hugs him and cries. Soni comes to Mr. K and he tells her Veer has never hurt ayone-nothing will come upon him. Tayiji tells Mr. K to keep strong because if the elders breakdown who will take care of the children.
-Soni is standing by the OR window looking in as Veer is being treated. Mahi comes and Soni tells her that instead of Veer she should be laying on that bed-why do good-hearted people always suffer. Soni says if anything happens to Veer she will never forgive herself. Mahi tells her to have faith in God and nothing will happen to Veer. The two sister's hug as Mahi consoles Soni (unless Soni was in some state of shock Mahi looked more emotional).
-T/T are sitting and Shabd's dad comes and asks abt Durga. T/T says she may not know and Shabd's dad tells them she should be here at the hospital since Veer's condition is so unstable. He goes to call her and Mr. K comes from behind. Shabd also comes and asks his dad's whereabouts-T/T tell Shabd that he went to call. Mr. K hears and goes after to stop him from calling and telling Durga. At the other end Durga and Lovely are getting restless. Shabd's dad calls and tells Durga everything before Mr. K can stop him. Mr. K tells Shabd's dad he wasn't supposed to let Durga know but Mr. K said he just did. Mr. K gets worried about what will unfold once Durga comes (watch out Soni-Veer is not around to come to the rescue!!!).
Preview: Couldn't really see it but Durga slaps Soni I think.
***It was a good (and sad) episode but Jeet and Mahi almost seemed more worried then Soni in some scenes-but I could just be bad at reading expressions.
