Hello all...intense episode again...
-Starts with a cheezy scene between Lovely and Tayiji where Lovely manages to squeeze in an ad for Aroona's new serial on Zee. The two are talking abt the trouble looming and how Maatadi will save them and protect them from evil-doers.
-The last aarti starts and Veer comes in singing 'Hey Naam Re Sabse Baada Naam Re' (from the movie Suhag) standing aside Soni who is looking up at him worried. Mr. Khurana and Lovely also sing part of the song. All else are also engrossed in the song and praying. Nice screenplay and the song fit in perfectly asking Maatadi for blessings and help in the time of trouble.
-Veer and Soni are walking away after the 'song' and both stop to talk to different people. Soni drops the pendant not noticing and Prem notices it on the floor. He is eyeing the pendant walking by w/red chunri pieces in his hand passing by Veer...Prem says 'Jai Maatadi' to Veer holding the chunris in front of him. Veer moves them aside and looks very closely at Prem recalling all the times at home when Prem brought Soni home post-kidnapping and what not. He asks Prem for a chunari and he gives one and walks away.
-Prem stands away somewhere looking shady and his goon-pal and him talk abt how Veer and gang have figured it out and police are on the way. (Btw this entire time Prem's beard is sorta not sticky on one side or so I thought atleast.)
-Veer goes aside to call the police and does so telling them his suspicions were right on and to come quickly. He walks away (thinking no one was behind) but of course Prem and goon-gang walk out from behind having heard him. Prem comes forward to where Veer was standing and sees the locket on the floor (I am guessing Veer eventually picked it up). As he is abt to pick it up Veer comes back and picks it up saying 'oh here it is' (it's hard to tell if Veer knows or not-he looks really suspicious of Prem). Prem sorta plays along but he does look worried and walks away. Veer puts the locket back in his pocket.
-Prem notices Mahi and Soni walking in. He grabs Soni and holds a gun to her head. Veer/Jeet/Shabd are all standing there as are the Khurannas and T/T. All are helpless because of the gun-Veer and Jeet are concerned but completely helpless and Shabd looks on disgusted. Mahi tells Prem to let Soni go. Prem reveals himself and tells how he was responsible for the bomb blast and finishing off the Malhotras...both sisters are crying. Mahi is upset and asks Prem what he got of it. Prem says as of now nothing but now I will. Veer tells him this is the first time he has failed to recognize a criminal. Prem asks for the chip and Veer says he doesn't have it. Prem tells him to give Soni's pendant that Veer has in his pocket. He tells Veer not to do anything foolish as he already lost his first wife-does he also want to lose his second wife. Veer tells Prem not to hurt Soni and takes it out and throws it over. He then asks Prem to now let Soni go but Prem is planning to use her as his escape shield.
-Veer and Jeet are following Prem's Jeep in which Soni is trying to tell him to let her go. Prem tells her to shut up meanwhile Jeet's car is not far behind. Somewhere in there Prem gets ahead and Jeet cannot see the car-Veer tells him to keep going as it is this road (the cops are also following-Indian police--- never on the scene right when need be). Soni yells for Veer and he hears and asks Jeet to follow that car...Prem's car stops for some reason and as he is figuring it out Soni manages to escape---Prem turns around to find her gone and runs after her. Jeet's car pulls up behind and Veer recognizes it as Prem's. Both brothers run towards the car to find it empty.
-Soni runs into this old Maataji mandir and prays for strength saying how much more will she have to suffer-what does life have in store for her next-but for the time being she needs strength to deal with this. Prem meanwhile is coming from behind. Soni takes some of the pooja sindoor and puts it---grabs the trident from the Maata's hand and turns around with it (ok they overdid this bit where she's standing looking like Maata's avtaar or something-a little too dramatic to digest---if people watch KS it's Soni in Bani's Durga avataar).
Preview: Soni and Prem are haggling over the Trident as Veer/Jeet/Shabd and police have also come in. Veer grabs the gun from the cops holster and is aiming to shoot but it's hard w/Soni-Prem constantly moving. He shoots.
***I know he didn't but imagine if tomm they show Veer accidently shooting Soni-OUCH!!! Intense episode---it's confusing as the whole time it seemed like Veer knew-his suspicions were constantly on Prem. It was pretty sad seeing everyone look on helplessly with Soni being held like that-esp since just yesterday Veer had promised to look after her. He really had no choice today though.
