mahi may be a 'bhenji' but she's a lot more prettier & cultured than say cheap women like shuhaani who wear modern clothes on the outside but have totally rotten values.😔😔

i don't get why women who wear traditional clothes are labelled as 'bhenji' types. is it wrong to embrace your culture & roots?

this same thing happened with vidya in dulhann. but i can say this for sure, shabd doesn't deserve mahi as much as sagar doesn't deserve vidya. they are all just rotten ******** who can't value a sweet homely wife who think their husband is their whole world!😔😔😔

I 100% agree with you. I was born and raised in America but I am very proud of my culture. I may not wear Indian clothes out to the mall, but when I go to my aunts house, dinner parties and those forth yes I wear Indian clothes and I love it. You are right, these people in the telly/bollywood dress in American clothes thinking they look more hot or more cool, but that's not the case.

Yes, I am proud of Mahi for sticking for what she believes, but then for ther husband sake and becaue she has worn those type of clothes before, It hink she should have done the ad shoot and make it clear to Shabd she will never wear these kind of clothes again

No one shud ever forget they are all "INDIANS" above all😔...As Indians we wud wear our National clothes only. šŸ‘Just by wearing western clothes does not make a person high-class. Personally speaking,I have seen this happen many times around me too..where people give u the cold shoulder and ignore u if u wear Indian clothes but give u interested looks if u r wearing jeans or very short skirts/dresses.šŸ˜• You only have to look at the pictures of the Page 3 "party animals"and even our own TV actors at parties, to see what am talking about. All these people dress in westerns and eat only foie gras etc. Since when was this a part of our cuisine or culture anyway??Personally speaking,I have nothing against wearing western clothes as such..but not if it means demeaning those who are dressed otherwise. It doesnt make any sense!!In any case, this show- Maayka is primarily about a uniquely Indian concept-a girl's parental home.

We are first and foremost Indians..let these guys not forget it.😔 By aping the west in wearing such short clothes and drinking wine,Suhani thinks she is hi-fi..whatever...!! 🤢She is not Indian in any way and has a case of lack of self identity and morals since she is running after a married man like Shabd without any scruples.🤢. She doesnt know who she really is...she must not forget her roots.😔😔

Whatever has happened to Mahi was bad..and I feel sorry for her😭. At times I think she shud stand up for her rights and fight Shabd and his attitude. The only positive thing I see in all this is that Mahi stood up for what she believed in when she refused to wear those clothes.šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

As for Shabd, did he marry Mahi out of love or to "possess" her so that she would do all his ads?? If so,what a selfish character he is..!!!😔😔😔

What do you think, guys?? Does anyone agree with me??

Post your comments pls..šŸ˜›

PS: Am not really sure if this post is in the right place to make such a comment but am doing so anyway. If any of moderators have any objections, pls do let me know why and what I need to do in such situations. Thanks!

i totally agree wid u!

yep...I agree šŸ‘ ...its our culture and personally I m from nepal and we have the same dressin sense as india so when ppl dress up modernly thats great but when u criticise someone who wears kurta or lenga...thats just hypocrysy...what shabd did was bad!

Well said dearšŸ‘

Mahi should stand up for what she believes in. But then again thats not Mahis personality in Maayka.

Also if Mahi did wear even once western clothes, she would not forget her religon and background.

I have nothing to add. U said it very well.šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

I 100% agree with you..! The way Shabd is being protrayed, it seems like he just married Mahi for her looks rather than her personality..

i agree wth yu 100%. people should be known whatz in the inside instead of what i showing on the out, as for Shabd he is simply proving that he married her what he saw not what she really is from the inside..... SO I AGREE100% 😃

I live in Canada...and most of us here...when we go to the mall, work etc...we obviously wear western clothing...however I never miss the opportunity to bust out in the indian clothes...I have tons of suits, sarees and even where them at the christmas dinners etc....whereas the white/black people wear their little black dresses...I will wear proudly wear my sarees. And they all love it...so why the indians degrade themselves is beyond my understanding.

One thing I don't understand is the indian thing about wearing jeans at a wedding and thinking its cool...when I went to India...I saw this kind of crap 😲 ...and I went to the same parties with my suits and LOTS of accessories!!!! šŸ˜‰

I also see the actors wearing really casual clothes out to the awards etc....why not the tie/suit? šŸ˜•

It's like they forgot to dress formally!!!!or maybe they think it is "modern wear"..... šŸ˜’
