Mahi is a bubbly down to earth character, who is very closely bonded with her family, and really loves them, and is close to them, where as Shabd belongs to a family which isn't really that close. Thats why maybe Shabd wasn't sure why Mahi's parents reacted the way they did to their marriage. He isn't really used to that sort of a family commitment, so won't that affect Mahi and Shabd's relationship.

I mean they are two totally different people, coming from to different backgrounds, Mahi isn't used to Shabd's life style, nor is Shabd used to Mahi's lifestyle. Will shabd be able to adjust with Mahi's relations... and understand her duties as a daughter to Brij and Moni... ?? And will Mahi be able to adjust in a family where there isn't any love bonding moments and attachments...

i hope i havent confused u all, but its just came to me after watching yesterday's episode...they say opposites attract but its not necessary for two who are attracted to work things out..

hmm maybe im being a bit too negative, but its just my thought, lets hope they both adjust well in this new relationship and understand each other well.

I don't think that their family backgrounds are different, I just think that their upbringing is....coz their mother wasn't around.

ur absolutely right about the fact that attraction doesen't always bring about a successful relationship. However it can be said that attraction is just the first step of love....it's not neccessary that u fall in love at first sight, infact I think u can never totally fal in love, at first sight....ur love needs to grow and only then will it evolve. Sooo I think to make their relationship successful, they need to accept eachother the way they are.....and think about eachother b4 doing certain things. For example shabd can remain modern, yet understand mahi's feelings towards her parents. Mahi can also understand that shabd has a different way of thinking....she as daughter-in-law can spread the love she has recieved from her maykaa. Always zarrori nahi hotha ki dono ke khayalath mile, but their priorities should be somewhat same. I think they both have great love for their family. What's sooo wrong in being different??

I think that in this relationship, they sorta contribute what the other lacks.

i think it's a pretty well balanced relationship.....mahi is traditional, shabd modern, mahi is naive, innocent....shabd is not.....etc, but the common ground is their families, and I think that will bring both closer.
