You know if y'all look carefully at Kanchi, many of her features match those of Shilpa...I also think that shes gonna look fantastic opposite Romit....

Garima nor Akangsha (although I like them) didn't match Shilpa's features. Soni has a certain look about her...I have never seen Kanchi's acting skills but after I googled her, I think that she'll make a very good Soni.

I will always miss Shilpa though. And I hope that she finds happiness in any other projects that she takes up! 😃

nah i dont think so..kanchi is very young n has young n bubbly features but shilpa has older women look..i dont think they both look alike at all..im happy with the choice..i liked kanchi in ek ladki anjani se..she will look cute with jeet..nice pairing

Well, they needed someone chubby. Kanchi is.

Besides, like they said. She has her own fan following. If they took someone else. Some viewers might have gone a bit bored of Soni character being changed for the third time and someone they might not like.

With Kanchi, they gained more viewers. Kanchi fans for instant.
