Just now finished watching this week's episode. I think Vaishnavi was overly emotional. It was more pity than love. Also found her immature when she kept repeating to Sunita that Harshita told her this and that. Vaishnavi's family environment and child's upbringing is not that great either.

In ME we always see this pattern that a housewife from a middle/lower middle class goes to a bigger house with more help then she lazes around and does nothing. Sunita looked indifferent and uncaring.

Vaishnavi was good but somewhere I thought she too was discriminating only here it was against the boy. Yes, the boy is pampered but then that's not his fault. Instead of trying to correct the boy, she lost her cool and kept ranting about it. She didn't take the kids anywhere. Did she? Other than getting Harshita a Barbie and giving some leftover ice-cream, what did she exactly do? Did I miss something?

Just like ME team provides cars for these contestants to shop etc., I think they did provide Hotel accomodation to Jenny.

I did not see the 2nd part..........but my perception matches with many of the members and above all I think

1. That the show is scripted partially ( I am giving the channel the benefit of the doubt on the whole show being scripted) is obvious.
2. That the families are chosen purposely....in their diversity is becoming more and more of a reality to me.
3. That the camera men are instructed to swoop in on any controversies or over the top kindness is again obvious.

Above all, I notice that the 'nicer' mother is always very pro-active at the start and somewhere along the show............it seems to fizzle out. Whereas the 'not so nice Maa' retains her attitude mostly.........

None of the families are really learning anything from this show (unlike the original show which do have a % of hits amongst the misses) and soon it will just become boring if it already has not.

I just dislike shows where they show children and their treatment be it from their own Maa's or visiting Maa's .........specially when no good comes out of it.

Aditi spot on! However what annoys me is that the children are made to suffer unnecessarily! When Rancho slapped his little boy for crying it was a reaction fuelled by frustration not from the crying but the "good Ma's" whinging about a 3 year old crying! I was so taken aback by the slap and the childs reaction I switched over!! Over here the show is balanced and the makers do not show bias, in India the shows seem to be sensationalised to gain viewership!
This week why bring in a Juhi motor mouth for Ma exchange! She's not a mother! She was on an imagine reality show where she was left in charge of kids, in my humble opinion she was the worst caretaker mother out of the lot!! Rakhi Sawant for all her nautanki did a good job!! Juhi is unbelievably rude and displayed no patience with the kids at all and just can't see what value she would add to Ma Exchange!! if these so called tv stars need to revive their careers they need to stick to BigBoss and not shows that involve real people (especially children)!
Rant over!! :)

How right you are Shizaru...........I have seen the original and have actually felt the show had so many merits that one could overlook the cases where the exchange may have failed.

It is all about sensationalism..........it always has been and that is why I am so against children being involved. It is about wife swap so why not find houses where either there are grown up kids who can take care of themselves or no kids at all..............I just don't think it works in our context. Having named it Maa Exchange...............the channel probably feels that children must be involved..

I dread to think of this week's show....did not see the 2nd part last week. I totally agree with you about umpteen other ways for career revival...........😊

Starplus on Sat / Sun :) look out for a child called Neil! Seriously I don't think I have come across a child so badly behaved rude and spoiled, but his dad his handling him really well even without his wife!! This is reality tv that tries to stay real :)
Have a good day hon and where's sbanik I haven't seen her for last couple of days :(
