He stares the photograph in bewilderment. Arjun's words ring in his ears "her name is damini... she is dead.... she is dead... dead.. dead!!!!" he looks at arjun who was looking at him confused says "dead... how.... saw.... not possible" arjun who never saw his boss in such a weird condition says "sir are you okay?" but prithvi does not replies he was lost in his own world. He again looks at the photograph of the smiling angel and the whole incident comes across his eyes. How he saw her sitting under the tree..... How she shouted on him..... How he saved her from the goons and how she..... DISAPPEARED. He felt a shiver down his spine when he thought about how she disappeared within a minute. He looks at arjun and asks "him when did she died?" he replies "she died four months ago in a car accident" prithvi was not able to believe all this. He didn't know what to believe what he saw that night or what arjun was telling him. He becomes confused and somewhat scared and goes out of the house while arjun keeps wondering what happened to his boss.

Prithvi gets in his car and thinks about what happened with him in the past fifteen minutes. "Is arjun saying the truth??" He asks himself and thinks about that figure sitting under the tree. He says "but if he is saying the truth then..... who was she?? Oh god what is happening with me?" He says "what if she was a ghost? I mean aisi kaun si ladki hai jo adhi raat ko drakht(tree) ke neeche bethi hui hoti." He gulps and says "in every horror story the witch is found alone on a lonely dark rainy night. B...u...t she was not wearing a white dress. What if she was a GHOST?" he takes deep breaths and says "prithvi pagal mat ban just because she disappeared that does not mean she was...g..ho..st. yes she was not a ghost but what if she was?? Oh god main pagal ho jaun ga mujhe ghar jana cahiye" as soon as he says this it starts raining and again those unwanted memories come in his mind. He remembers her beautiful face and says "how can someone so beautiful be a ghost? and then says but they say in horror stories that every witch disguises herself as a beautiful girl." He looks out of the window and says "beta tu pagal ho gaya hai. Bhoot woot kuch nahin hota hai. Tu ghar ja aur yeh sari batein bhul ja with this he starts driving."

It was raining cats and dogs again and he was stuck on the high way. He was very tired and confused he just wanted to get home as soon as possible. He gets out of the car and asks someone if there is a short cut or not?? He tells him that he can take the road on the left side it's a short cut. Prihvi thanks him gets in car and starts driving. The road was a lonely one there were hardly any cars on it. It was reminding him of that so to distract his mind he turns on the radio there was nothing on it either so he tries to change the CD but it fells down. Prithvi sighs looks forward there was no one so he bends down and tries to change the CD while driving the car. Suddenly a loud sound comes and he realises that he hit into someone. He stops the car at once and looks behind there was a figure lying on the road. He gets out of the car and runs towards that figure. As the distance between them shortens he realises that the figure was actually a girl. He bends down and turns her so that he can she her face to his surprise it was the same girl whom he met that night. He at once gets up and moves two steps back saying "yeh phir se. Oh god yeh bar bar barish main isi trha hi kyun milti hai." He remembers arjuns words she is dead. He feels scared and moves but when he looks at her he stops. Again he becomes his captive and starts moving towards her. He slowly bends down again and touches her with his finger. He feels a little relieved to notice flesh on her. After that he notices blood.... blood was coming out of her forehead. He says "dekha prithvi bhotoon ka khun nahin nikalta." He checks her pulse.... she was alive her heart was still beating. He picks her up and places her on the back seat of his car. Then he sits on the driving seat and starts driving. He keeps thinking about her why did arjun said she is dead if she was alive. May be he also does not knows that she is alive. He looks at her from the mirror she is so beautiful he mutters to himself engage himself on driving rather than getting lost in her beauty again and again.

He reaches his house and gets out of the car. He opens the door of the backseat of his car and bends to pick her up. She was still fainted and when he bends to pick her up the proximity they shared was teasing him. For the first time in his life he was feeling a different feeling that too for a girl. He takes her inside and during so keeps looking at her. Her face was the same emotionless. He remembers her pictures that soft smile on her lips and again looks at her there was no sign of a smile he didn't knew why but he wanted to see that smile on her face again. He thinks what happened to her that the smile faded away from her face. She was looking even paler than the last time he saw her. He reaches his room and gently places her on the bed. He moves back but his chain was tangled with her necklace so he again comes towards her and stops only inches away from her lips. He looks at the chain and starts untangling it. She could feel her soft breath across his face which was driving him crazy. He quickly untangles the chains and moves back thanking god finally the distance between them increased. He picks up his mobile and dials arjuns no but the signals were poor due to rain and when it got connected he won't pick it up. He tries again and again but sometimes it would say no signal and when it will connect he won't pick it up. Prithvi stops dialling his no and calls his secretary. She picks it up and prithvi asks her to give him arjun's home no she replies that she does not have his home no right now so she will find his home no from office since it is raining so she will give him his home on tomorrow. prithvi disconnects the call and again tries to call arjun but still no signal. He thinks he should call him later so he stops calling him and turns to catch a glimpse of sleeping beauty. He looks at her and once again gets lost in her beauty. Moonlight was falling on her making her look like a goddess. Her hair was wet making her look even more beautiful. Her dress was wet clinging on to her body out lining her perfect figure. There were no words to describe this goddess. She was so beautiful but there were no emotions on her face which was disturbing him. After looking at her he kept wondering what happened with her why is she so emotionless? He remembers her photo happiness was visible on her face and now nothing. He remembers her eyes they were full of passion, happiness and innocence in the photo and then he remembers he eyes on that night they were still innocent but the happiness the passion was gone it was replaced by grief of what he does know. Wind was blowing hard and some strands of hair came on her face and blocked his view. He comes close to her and sits on the bed beside her. He moves his hand to tuck them behind her ear but stops midair realising what he is doing is wrong. He does not even know her. He gets up from the bed and confused from his own behaviour he again calls arjun but he won't pick up his mobile. he becomes angry and curses arjun. Suddenly he hears someone saying "where am I?" And turns to find her wake starring him

Prithvi: you got hit....

Damini: where am I? And who are u?

Prithvi: I am the same guy who saved u from goons that night

Damini: you!!! Us din main tumhare haath nahin ayi toh tum mujhe aone gahr utha laye.

Prithvi: whoa whoa slow down girl u are taking it all I...

Damini: I am not taking it worng. U r worng. I know what do u want to do with me

Prithvi(angrily): shut up! Kab se boli ja rahi ho. Mere bare main pata nahin kay kya soch rahi ho. Main yahan tumhein jan poch kar utha jar nahin laya woh toh tum meri car se takra gayi thi isi liye tumhein ghar le aya tumhari help karne ke liye na ke woh karne jo tum soch rahi ho

Damin( a little embarrassed): why should I believe u?

Prithvi: had hai ek toh maine tumhari mada ki aur tum mujhe hi batein suna rahi ho. huh bhali ka toh zaman hi nahin hai. Age se kabhi ksis ki mada nahin karun ga.

Damini ignores and starts moving towards the door.

Prithvi: where are you going?

Damini: why should I tell you?

Prithvi: I mean u r not well. Ur foot is swollen and ur fore head is bleeding. Take some rest and then leave in the morning when it stops raining.

Damini: listen Mr I am not going to stay here and spend fighting with u I am going right now.

She again moves towards the door. She was having trouble in walking her foot was swollen. She was about to fall but grabs the side of bed on right time. But she does not stops she again tries to walk and prithvi says "damini u r injured have rest." Her eyes widen in shock and she asks him how do u know my name? Are you stalking me?? prithvi "no no why would I stalk u? arjun he is my employee I went to ur house he told me ur name?" Fear creeps in her whole body on the mention of arjun and prithvi continues "wait I will call him." As soon as he says this she starts running towards the door with a swollen foot. He follows her and stops her on the door by grabbing her wrist. She looks at him wide eyed and says "get your hands off of me." prithvi replies "tum kahein na ja sakti."

Damini: main ja rahi hon and no one can stop me.

Prithvi: no u r not going

Damini: who the hell are u to stop me?

Prithvi suddenly realises that he really does not have any right to stop her so her says "fine. Go." And leaves her hand. She turns to leave but suddenly feels dizziness. She takes the support of the wall to stand properly but her strength give away and she falls in the arms of prithvi. As soon as her skin makes contact with his hands his skin burns. She was so hot. Her picks her up and places her on the bed. Then he places her hand on her forehead she was so hot he says "ise toh bohat teez bukhar hai." He takes off her and shoes and covers her with some blankets. Then goes downstairs and returns after sometime with a towel and bowl full of cold water. he places a chair beside the bed and sits on it. Then he dips the towel in the water and twists it to remove extra water from it. Then he places the towel on her forehead and keeps repeating the process until her temperature falls down a bit. After that he places the bowl and towel aside and sits on the chair beside her in case she need anything or wakes up and runs away. He was very tired so soon after that he falls asleep on the chair beside her.

She slowly opens her eyes and looks around. She remembers what happened earlier. She felt dizzy and was about to fall when he caught her. she remembers him and eyes roam around the room to catch a glimpse of him again but she does not finds him anywhere. She turns her head sideways and finds him sleeping on the chair beside her. For the first time she carefully notices his features. He had a handsome face, his eyes were closed but she remembered then they were the first thing she saw when first time she saw him. They were big, brown and were supported by a pair of eyelashes. Then she comes down on his lips. She was actually starring his lips when this thought came in her mind she looks away feeling embarrassed. But she again looks at him this time she notices his broad shoulders and strong and muscular chest. she notices his biceps which were prominent even from beneath the shirt and again comes on his chest. The top two buttons of his shirt were open and she was starring right into his chest. Suddenly she feels embarrassed and looks away. She tries to move but she was too tired. She didn't remember when was the last time she slept on such a comfortable bed. Her gaze again roams around the room and she notices the bowl and the towel. She looks at him in awe. She felt so grateful to him. She was a total stranger to him but still she helped not once but four times. At first he came to help her when he spotted her sitting all alone under the tree in rain, then he saved her from the goons, then he brought her to his home when she got hit by his car. If anyone else would have been there he would have left her there lying on the road and then who knows what could have happened to her. then again he helped her she spoke so rudely with him but still he sat beside her all night and constantly places the wet towel on her forehead so that her temperature will come down. She thinks he is a nice person with a good heart and keeps looking at him until she falls asleep again.

She opens her eyes and looks at the surroundings remembering what happened last night. She remembers him and that he said "he will inform arjun". ARJUN that name comes in her mind and her whole body becomes stiff. She looks at the clock it said 10:03 am and the looks at the chair beside her it was empty. What if he had already told arjun about me??? She says to herself and sits with a jerk. No I cannot stay here she thinks and gets out of the bed. There was pain in every possible part of the body but she ignored it and moved towards the door. She grabs the handle of the door and twists it. The door opens with a creak sound and she peaks outside. There was no one. She gets out of her room and tip toes downstairs. Then she stood in the hall thinking which way to go when kaka came and said "you woke up beti." She gets scared by the sound voice and almost jumps forward. Then she gains her strength looks back and finds an old man looking at her with a smiling face. He continues "prithvi beta told me about you. Go and get fresh I will make breakfast for you." She thinks what are these people aliens??? First he saves her a total stranger and then his family behaves with her like she is his family member. She had never met such sweet people in my life and it was hard for her to believe that such people still exist. All her life she had met rich classy people who plastered a smile on their face while complimenting others. They were too proud of their money even though they never boasted of it but their behaviour and the way they mocked each other showed it all. They were jealous of each other and wanted to get ahead of others. She met only two kind hearted person in her life. Her mother whom she hardly remembered and her father. He was also rich but was not proud of his money. He respected the feelings of other people and never mocked them. She knew her father would have done the same what prithvi did but she never thought that there were more people like him in the world so it was hard for her to believe that prithvi was also of same nature. She was brought out of her thoughts when kaka said "need something beta?" She looked at him and without saying anything ran outside. Kaka became confused and called prithvi . prithvi came out of his room and kaka told him that the girl ran outside. Prithvi also ran behind her. She was opening the gate when he came running towards her calling her name. She looked at him coming towards her and tried to go out through the slightly open gate but her dress gets stuck with the bars of the gate and gets torn. She becomes stiff and tears fill in her eyes. He also saw what happened to her and felt bad for her. He reaches her but she did not have the strength to look at him. She was feeling too embarrassed and her dress was too much torn. He looks nowhere except her face. Her eyes were lowered and he knew the intensity of the moment. He quickly untangled her dress. While untangling his eyes not even for a second fell on her body they were fixed on the bars. After untangling the dress he took off his shirt and wrapped it around her. It covered the exposed part of her body. After that he places his arms around her and starts walking inside. She was shocked from his behaviour. From the corner of her eye she observed him. His gaze never fell on her body even while wrapping his shirt around her his gaze was fixed on the ground. She slowly raises her eyes and looks at him. He was still not looking at her he was looking forward. She looked at him with grateful admiring eyes. At that moment she felt so protected to have him his side. He took her into a room upstairs. There he opened the closet and with his back towards her said "these are my sister's clothes. There are both western and Indian in it. Wear whatever you want." After saying this he went outside closing the door. She couldn't help but admire him. She felt so thankful to god for sending him in her life. She takes off his shirt and runs a hand over it thinking about him and couldn't help but smile. She took and Indian dress and wore it then she came outside and found kaka there. She asked him where is prithvi? Kaka told her and she went towards his room. She knocks at the door and je replies come in. She goes in he becomes shocked to see her in his room. He gets up from his bed and she goes towards him. She stops a few feet from him and says thanks. He looks at her in shock for two minutes. It was hard for him to believe that this spitfire just thanked him. He gained his senses and replied mention not it was my duty she replies "no, it was not." I was so rude with you but you still helped me. He says no seriously, it was not a big deal. She replies "it was maybe not for you but for me. I am not talking about what just happened outside. I am talking about everything for saving me from those goons, for bringing me home, for taking care of me all night, I am no body to u but u still helped me." He smiles and says "stop saying thanks you are making me embarrassed." She also smiles and says "well then sorry for my earlier behaviour. Actually I have seen so many types of people in my life that it's hard for me to believe that God still makes people like you." He nods and says "its okay and stop making me embarrassed." She turns to leave but her foot trips and she falls but he grabs her by waist on time. Her eyes were tightly shut by the fear of hitting the ground but she never did. She slowly opens her eyes and finds him starring at her. They both get lost in each other's eyes.
