Shwetha ,here are my takes as I am a "critic" and will remain a critic coz there are lot of parameters and technicality to look into .CV's have done a tremendous job the way they have progressed the story,especially the script/dialogue writer.One question to you Shwetha,Is it been exactly 6 months for LNMDJ? I do not know the date when the show started ,coz it looked as wel planned track for 6 months with maksad coming to an end and brothers identity revealed and CV's have brillinatly executed.
Episode started with Savni's Scene- Dialogues for Avni was too good and editing was done fabolously .Technical team take a bow here but
I wish there was less of make up for Avni for that scene so that her tears would have looked natural on her face .
Actors:PC-I really cannot call it as a brillant acting as expressions were wooden for me nor the dialogue delivery as such coz I have lots of parameter to scale it, but I must say she has got used of facing camera now compared to before she is not scared of camera anymore,she can stand and look into it now,thats the only confidence I saw in her.(camera friendly) Good,for this alone I give her 6/10.
Hope you remember,I had made a post long time back on PC then ,now she is on track as I see her as a little toddler but long long way to go.
KT gets nothing for this scene.
Their scenes lack that connection always ,the actors are supposed to have when they are performing those characters.
Prida-I still do not know how actors here pushed and pulled (physically)each other in this scene.I had to play that scene again and again (so many times) to understand it.It was surely not a directors shot,it was more of an actors shot.Brilliant actors/acting by GauCha,they get 10/10 together and indiviually too.Coz there is a connection of characters Prida here with the actors when they are performing,it brings life and depth for the scene and characters too.
CS for dialogue delivery ,expressions very cold ,tone had a warning to it , perfect body language(the way she simply walked off ignoring).10/10
GK for his bodylanguage(walking towards her ,holding her shoulders,very natural) and expressions.10/10
I still do not get why are GK scenes at his best when his scenes are with CS alone?
Technically,directors had nothing much to do here but script writer take a bow again.
Varni-Nothing really in terms of acting but I love Simaran's voice she always has depth to it.Only for her voice she gets 6.5/10.
Script writer takes 10/10 for the brilliant reasoning they gave for Roshini.
Pri-Avni:The most talked about scene in IFeven I had great expectations when I saw the precap.
Expected emotions were missing completely from Avni except for her dialogues nothing was there.Editor /Dialogue writer take a bow again.Wish she had exhibited a kind of connection then it would have made real to an extent atleast instead of plain.I give her 5/10 coz her hindi is getting a little better though I still get to hear punjabi and her "Ez" and "Eh" attached to words while pronouncing it.Example: her "jeej" is "jee-eh" for "ja" she makes "zah"
GK brought the choking,stammering,tears ,bit of remorse in this scene but it lacked sync here and there which did not have smooth finishing from his end through out so its 8.5/10.Wish it could have been better.
I could also see him connecting to the character as a brother very evident from his body language but at end when Avni walks off it did not have a smooth finish again from his body language 9.5/10.
Technically,good make up man coz he had put kajal for GK for this scene.Director had shot this particular angle in their scene (both together in same frame thru window) was brilliant.Plz do not play the vocal as background especially for avni ,that vocal is to be used when there is a solo scene not when to be played when there are two people.I liked the vocals when it was played for first time,plz stop playing it often now i feel like running or banging my head against wall.
Var-Dam:It looked like a teacher and a student scene,where student is reminding teacher about the UT(unit test) as he has already been prepared for it and just wants teacher to give him UT toget his 10/10.
Is DA a Gujrathi? coz his pronuncation are always wrong "ismein" sounds "eeshmay" and so many words are wrongly pronunced always.(No offence plz)
He looked like a confident student which was very much required in that scene,even if his pronunciation is wrong he is good with rate of speech and sing-song way of speaking where his voice drops at the end of a sentence gradually ,so I give him 5/10.
Damz /CS,loved the way she questions the student /Varun there and her reasoning too .Brillaint when she just took a fraction of second to think and then left from there like what ribbish is he saying? How can a teacher in this scene not get 10/10 especially her tone for questiong and reasoning with expressions on face and eyes ,body langauage when she walks off from there were all in sync.(she did not walk straight,she has bent a little indicated she had enough of these brothers for the day as she walked off)
Direction and dialogues were good enough,no efforts found from there department.It was a simple scene ,no hard work as such.
Rosh-Sam:KT was Shankar Mahadevan's breathless in that scene though his expressions where good ,dialogue delivery was not to the mark.So KT gets 6/10 for expressions alone.
Roshini has nothing other than walking off.I cant give really give marks for it alone but for the scene (both together) on the whole I give 6/10.
Ela- nothing for the actress really.
Editor was brilliant to connect all the dots in that scene.
Make up could have been less ,why soo much of mascara? Sad scenes are always brilliant when there is no/less make up .Wish the costumes were salwars for her (full sleeves and full neck) coz Sujatha has this rigid body/physique and too difficult to make her look like having attack,its a technical let down.
Loved Rosh in that scene,the way she calls "Avni Di,Di and finally screaming "Dii" too much of depth . Simran gets 10/10 here.
Damz entering with "why you shouting? " and then immediately with "What?" expression on her face was awesome when she sees Ela.They way she bends down and then gives the mobile to avni without turing to her to call Dr.,talking to her mom to open her eyes,surprised looking at avni not calling the Dr.,getting up , giving one to Pri when he wanted to help by calling Dr.,getting up and calling Dr. on her own.On the whole,this shot was fully action oriented(physicall movement) ,what I liked most is the variation she gave throughout the frames in every fraction of second were all in sync with body language,expressions,mood,dialogue delivery.
CS is brilliant and I knew her calibre when I saw her first so no surprise for me when I watch such scenes onscreen ,no wonder she does her scenes as if she drinks water(ease).I will not give her marks for what she is already brilliant for but I will give her 10/10 for the "timing" aspect she had in execution of the scene was all in her control.Timing matters a lot,if you dont give it on time,it could spoil or bring down the intensity of the scene,so knowledge of time is really important for the actor when they perform for a shot just like how important rhytm is important for a dancer other than expressions.
I guess this scene has GK body doubles.
Director has shot in one shot after finalising the angle and discussion over the scene as there was no sign of retake and very less editing here ,except for the Gk's body double editing.
I would also give 10/10 for KT in this scene,where he called Ela aunty with appropriate expressions of concern.
Dr.-Damz-Pri-Sam:I loved the way director shot this scene initially showing Saxsena's at the other end and Gujrals in the same frame just by moving camera frame then this particular angle when Damz barge inbetween when Pri asks for Ela health was brilliant shot/framed. Script writer take a bow again for the dialogue of "Outsider".
CS expression ,face and tone was again cold,her tilt indirect face towards brothers ,gets 10/10
GK could have been more convincable with remorse on face and eyes here at that one shot so its 9/10 but it was a shot on for KT as he gave right expression of guilt when camera was zommed flashed at him for a sec,it was a expression to capture for ,KT gets 10/10 here.
Damz asking Avni to go had depth of emotion in her voice as if she is losing hope inside ,clinging to Rosh then connecting dots of all the three bros(Editor was good again),then immediate change in expression when she connected the dots,turns to them ,questions them first then starts her outburst of her mothers conditon today was flawless.I still get to hear her "HELL" part echoing in my ear.Her words were razor sharp ,brilliantly delivered,her breathing going out of control ,avni brings her to concisous,breathing getting steady to calm herself to met her mom inside having her head bent ,lips movement after uttering it ,looking up at Pri with small drop of tear,hurt in her eyes and holding her gaze at him, look of cold then turing again with hurtful face was all soo flawless throughout.Again I give CS 10/10 for the " time " factor and the knowldge in understanding of character and scene was all in her control .
GK expressions especially eyes were not that remorseful as it was expected to be so he gets 8/10 but his body language alone at the end( breaking down) gets a full 10/10.
Again,the dialogue writer take a bow,directors for the beautiful way they shot the concepted scene and how it was ended .Screenplay was brilliant through out the episode.
I request Cv's to give the real power packed scenes to CS coz she is a chupa rustam in LNMJD gang there ,dont make her job/acting easy always.
