Epilouge- Three years later

Sanjana's fifth birthday was to be celebrated in Manali this year. Meetings were canceled or postponed. Leave was taken from jobs, the kids have vacation from school. Everyone was in a frenzy to get ready for the trip.

Prithvi and Damini exchanged looks when the final was finalized. It would be the younger couples' and their children's first trip there. They recalled the beautiful moments they spent there four years ago.

" We'll have to sneak a smore kiss this time," Prithvi hissed in her ear.

Damini smiled.

" We might actually catch the others doing that," she retorted.

He shook his head at her and then went to check on the kids. The twins had grown to be handful but were blessings nevertheless. Prithvi found Sanjana and Diya making Aviansh play tea party with them. He shook his head and told the girls to get one of their mothers or Roshni Massi next time. Aviansh eyed his father gratefully.

"Papa they are weird. That is a girl game," he said.

" Yes Avi, when we get to Manali we will teach you all to do horse riding," Prithvi assured him.

The kids were asleep when they reached Manali late night. They were tucked in and their grandmothers went up to sleep too. The three couples sat around making smores before retiring to bed themselves.

The morning fog cleared up and then nine people emerged from their home and were headed down to the stud farm.

" Prithvi are you sure the kids aren't too young to be on the horses?," Damini inquired.

" It's better they start here and now so they have it easier for later," Prithvi assured her.

Prithvi settled his siblings and their wives along with Sanjana( who rode with Roshni because Avani was a bit hesitant to get on the horse by herself).

Then he placed Avianish with Damini. He placated his wife before getting on the last horse with Diya. They rode for an hour, the kids enjoyed the experience.

Damini felt like this was even better than her vision. She was with everyone she loved and she had her young children learning to ride horses. She locked eyes with her husband later after they had brought the horses back. They stood together like the first time they had really seen each other. She had been arrogant then, wanting to prove him a coward, unable to work for her.

However things had changed since then. Today six years later, she stood with him with pride because their life was built up together. Today they loved and had an everlasting connection that she hoped would last forever.

She hoped that if she ever had another human life to live, she would be with him again. Kyunki yeh teri meri zindgai hai.

They lived happily ever after….
