-SaVni - Broken Hearts - One shot.-
The marriage of Sameer and Avni had been out to everyone and all had mixed reactions to it but eventually it was accepted by everyone. Avni had been trying to call Sameer all the day and thought about telling him about the special dinner she has been planning along. Unable to reach him, she decides to go and get some flowers for the special evening. She goes outside and it starts raining so she tries to cover herself with an umberrla when she spots Sameer there. She is shocked and calls him.. " Jai" she calls out but he does not turn around. She gets closer and she is shocked to see him talking to Prithivi and Varun about something intense. " Jai with Prithivi and Varun here?"
She gets closer to see what they are talking about..
"Sameer, what we are doing is not the right thing. How much more pain will we cause them?"
" I know Bhayia. I cannot pretending to be someone I am not. I cannot hurt Avni anymore. I have realizes that in my revenge, I ruined Avni completly. I told her that I love her, I married her, but why? Because I wanted to revenge from her mother who we thought did bad to her father but even her mother did, why should she get punished? I had no right to play with her feelings. Avni is someone who has always given me support. I cannot do this anymore."
" I have been saying to you guys all along, that this revenge track will get us nowhere and now even the truth is out, how can we just go about doing?"
" I know chote, I am going to tell Avni everything tonight. The entire reality and whatever she decides, I'll accept it.."
" Chal, let's go home and get ready for the final plan"
Sameer, Varun and Prithivi leave to go home while Avni stands there drenched in the rain.. The words ring in her head, " Revenge, marriage, love, Sameer" She was stunned at what life had played with her.. She had realized that she was always right.. She did not deserve love, she would never get love - Because she was not deserving. The cruel fate that destiny played on her , all the scenes with Sameer flashed into her mind.. Tears could not move her as she stood in the pathways of life..

Avni stood motionless in the rain...
Sameer on the other side prepared for the final deed in the plan. The plan was going to end today and today for the first time, he was glad it was over. He had to tell Avni the truth, the reality, and the fact that he was Sameer, not Jai. How he had cheated her. He knew it was not going to be easy , but he would tell Avni everything and including the biggest truth of his life - He loved Avni. Yes, he truly loved Avni for she was, and today he would tell her the entire truth..
The lights at Gujral house were dimmed as Sameer walked in.. There were candles all around, but no where near was Avni. He went into her room to find her when he stumbled upon the rose he had given her, and every one of their memories lit. He smiled to himself. He knew that Avni loved him, but today he was beginning to realize her importance and her love..
A noise startled him and he looked up to see Avni walking like a zombie, drenched in the rain. He was shocked and went towards her.. " Avni, what's wrong?"He looked at her with the tender eyes at her. She stared at him and slowly removed the hand.. He put it back on her.. " What happened Avni?"
She didn't respond but instead sat down on the bed.. He slowly bend towards her and asked her again. She remembered silent again. It was killing him. Her silence was killing him.. What had happened? He noticed something in her hand and tried to see it. He was stunned.. He saw a picture of him with his parents and his brother..
He was stunned.. " Avni, I can explain"
Avni stood up and finally wiped her tears off.. " Please.. Leave me alone. Your revenge is done.. Congrats for winning your challenge!"
" Avni, please listen"
Avni just turned around and stared at him.. " You know something Jai.. I mean Sameer. Thank you proving that truly I don't deserve love.. If you had to do everything, why didn't you clear it for me before you did it. I would have caused myself pain if it made you happy, but why lie? You knew I would be broken, why would you do it?"
" Avni, I wanted to tell you?"
" When Sameer. When I would be dead, is that when you were gonna tell me? You don't love me. Our marriage is a lie"
" Avni, please listen to me"
" Please leave me alone Sameer. I don't have anything to say to you"
Avni slowly walked away from Sameer. It made him realize what had tugged him along.
Silent words across a screen.
How could they mean so much to me.
I promised myself I would not cry.
Then a silent tear falls from my eye.
The night closed with two people whose hearts and souls had been broken, would they ever be fixed?
