Aww this is a cute topic :)
One person I know fell in love with someone of a different religion, and was adamant about marrying him. But to be accepted, she had to convert and well yeah, now the families accept the wedding, but she's not allowed to partake in any religious things at her maternal home, any traditions or anything because she's of a different religion =/
The other one - differnet languages but same religion, and everyone was great! He's South Indian, she's North Indian and we had an amazing time at the wedding! Lots of different customs from both cultures included and it was fun, and it's really cute seeing her trying to be more South Indian, in a sense, trying to make more Idli/Sambar type dishes and all that :D But both of the families adores both of them so it's a very happy life as far as I can see. Makes me feel good about love marriages :)
First Case I wont comment much as I really hate religious conversion as it shows backward mind set and non adaptability to different views we really need to give respect to each other
.Alas! people end up making such adjustments just coz they are too much in love
Second one is really cute one trying to make more idli sambhar😆...i really like such marriages as u get see colourful things happening😊
I too know of a marriage in my society where girl is Bangoly and boy north Indian and full shakahari(vegetarian)
The girl loves fishes but since her husband is not used to the smell of it she prefers having it at her parents house. One thing is very cute with the girl she sings very sweet .She told me once it was for her sweet voice bhiya (the boy) fell for her 😆
