Hey guys!! ok..so dis topics a bit serious, but after watching d epi today, i just had this thought...in todays episode, something hit me, and hit me real bad...this one dialogue of Gehlot's.."Jaan ki keemat bahut sasti hai.." now...when I heard this..n thought this over...i realised, well...life has suddenly become such a huge joke for so many people...i mean, there are so many people out dere who thinks its a game to take someones life..or force sum1 to do so..n dat too for d most trivial, and most ridiculous of reasons...i mean, do dese ppl realise how many families dey may tear apart after doing this?? do dey have ANY sense of remorse?? n u no d worst part in all dis...?? most of dese ppl get away scot free...

Nitish Katara fell in love...and this was such a big crime, that he was MURDERED for it..his killers are still walking free..

Jessica Lall was murdered because she abided by the rules of the place where she worked and refused to serve drinks to her killers after closing time..

Priyadarshini Mattoo was made to meet with an even worst fate just because she lodged a police complaint against the man who threatened her dignity...the policeman who was sent to protect her failed 2 stop this man from hurting her further and later, after this man APOLOGISED, he was taken off, and she was killed...

these are just three of the thousand cases in a year which were highlited by the media...but i couldn't help but wonder..WHY is it that things are so corrupt in such situations?? why is it that Jessica's sister had to wait for nearly 10 years before she got justice..why is it that Nitish's mother, who's old,and alone, is fighting this battle for so long just so her son gets justice?? why is it that Priyadharshini's father had to fight his battle for so long, and YET a higher court has stopped her murderer's death sentence on LACK OF EVIDENCE??? Has life really become so cheap and worthless that people who're committing such horrible crimes are getting away with it?? Has corruption seeped into every core of our "protectors" so much so that innocent people suffer so much???

I'm sorry for sounding so agitated, but I can't help it...for once after so long, there's some core issue touched upon in LRL, and i couldn't help but feel disgusted with what's happening around us..

Ok, so basically, i just wanted to know what all of you guys feel about this..

Has our judicial system become corrupt that the rich, famous and powerful get away with anything and everything?

Is there any way in we,as citizens, can do anything to help victims of such circumstances...in short..can mocements like "Justice for Jessica" be repeated?

Please do participate and let me what you guys think..am waiting for your replies!😳

this was exactly my point.............people like those who u mentioned are walking freely but a man like sanjya dutt is arrested(for just possessing a gun)

theres another example.........moninder-tht noida incident, where a man usesd to abuse innocent children n then kill them.

Oh my God... reading all the posts here... I feel agitated too...
there's a big revolution underway... people have simply lost the sense of dignity and humanity... all they live for is the fulfillment of monetary gains and desire...
the cases that you people have mentioned are proof enough for how unsafe life has become!

I'm glad LRL did make us realize it... in this way... Gehlot's dialog did make sense when it comes to how a man of today thinks 😕 😡

you are absolutely right but i think its us who are at fault we don't take a stand we just hope someone else will and when someone does we don't support them we have to change that

Very very much agreeable points.... I always feel like this, when such issues arise. Fortunately our judiciary system is not corrupted. No sir deary, its just the people who are fighting for justice are corrupted. The reason money and even if people do want justice, they are threatened, bribed what not???????

There has been many notions to change the judiciary system laws, but all these go into deaf years. Increasing the number of courts or lawyers have helped in no way. Here we keep pending cases for years together. There is a statement I heard in a tamil film "Vaadium irandu viduvaar, pradivaadiyum iranduviduvaar, aanaal vayda mattum kodukkapadum"-meaning that the person who filed the case would have died, the person on whom the case was filed would also have died but adjourment of cases alone happen non stop.

Sigh.... Many films come with revolutionary thoughts, but... See there is a but in our thinking and doing always 😕

Agreed, with all the points.
In all the above cases that u mentioned the convicts r from either very rich or powerful families.Unfortunately,to fight a case with these kinds of people u need money & influence.I am ashamed to say,bt in present juridical condition, ppl talk only one language,"language of money".
From my personal experience I am telling,in any court, whether it is a lower court or higher court,U walk 5cms and u need to pay money, if u want ur work to get done.Starting from the lower officials to the high profile Lawyers, everybody is corrupted.
There is a way to get rid of this.If the youths of this generation be honest enough and get into the world of law other than running after an MBA course or IIT.

Ya Kanak..a revolution is underway...but its slow on d uptake..one case gets attention, n ten go unnoticed...one criminal goes behind bars, n ten walk free...we need some stronger action from those who can take action so sum1 can send a strong message out 2 society as to wat can and cannot be tolerated...
