Fight for good roles.......

this is the article in a marathi news paper on Rajeev. the headline is in marathi 'Sangharsh Abhinayacha' that means 'fighting for good roles'

not all of u here will be able to read it so posting in short what it means.

they have appriciated Rajeev's views abt the good roles in this field. it's not his interview but somebody has written it.

they say that after finishing his college, he went to Delhi coz he wasn't sure that he will survive in Mumbai. he tried his best there and when he understood that if he wants to get his identity in this field then there is no option for him but to go to Mumbai. till that time even his parents have accepted his passion for acting and supported him. then he auditioned in Delhi for KTH , but first got the role in 'KHKH' for 26 episodes. then he was called for KTH and offered the role of 'Sujal' which was a big hit.

(all of us already know it, still putting the article just for u all)

but then he left KTH. why? rajeev says on it, " i think it's always good to stop where u r on peak. just coz u r getting best TRPs, so keep streching the role and soap, is not good. so i thought Sujal has created enough magic, and it has to stop now. i never have any grudges with anybody, nor do i have any ego problems, but i can't continue after i feel it will start getting boring after some point."

so very soon he will be quitting LRL also. ' yes, that's true' says rajeev, " see, rajveer has come to KMA for some mission . he has completed the mission successfully. now he has to go back. there is no point in continuing showing that rajveer has given some new mission and that too only in KMA. his mission is over and he has to go. i have told it to the producers even before LRL started thatmy role should get over after completing the mission, and they won't strech it just for TRPs. and the producers had agreed to it. so it has to be over now."

what next then? (usual question and his usual reply)

'of course i m thinking about it. but even if i don't get any good role, i can survive here easily for year or so, i m sure about it. but i won't take any role that doesn't satisfy me. when i was about to sign LRL, many had advised me not to sign, but i had liked the script, and see now LRL is a success', rajeev smiles.

and yes he is right, first Sujal and now Capt Rajveer Singh Shekhavat have become household names. Rajeev has made his mark and is ready to wait for few more jobless months , but he wants his next role to be remarkable. hope he gets it soon.

chalo its good to see that atleast some ppl have the brains to undersatnd that rajeev is a thinking actor and takes up quality roles.........warna to the media only seems to love actors who do 4 shows at a time.............huh!! crappy ppl!!!!

i am sure deeya and tony will come up with something interesting - he can give them a chance.
their serials r not that bad. i wish he doesn't leave the serial so soon. after all he is the officer who has come to show the cadets the right path. he has been a source of inspiration for them. rite now he should concentrate in training the cadets and proving to be a good mentor plus a few rn scenes. i dunno why he has to quit the serial in the first place - his role is good enough rite now.
