Y is Alekh's lingo so popular?

Is week ka NL really got me thinking this{Nothing abt NL..I m just citing an example}. V all here belong to good if not from affluent families.V r all seeking good education. In short v may say hum sab yahan pe pahe-likhe ya phir padhte-likhte lekin ek so called "Cultured" society ka part hain.

Bt if v notice almost every forth person on LRLF is using Bittu's lingo."haila" has become d latest slang. Baat karte karte v often end up using tapori lingo..... me being no exception to dat. I was just wondering Y???Y r v all using Alekh's tapori lingo....I kno he is too cooool & a fav amongst max of us bt then raj bhi hamari favs list mein top karta hai.Y dont v adopt his sophisticated, soft-spoken style.I just wanna kno wat according to u guys makes his tapori lingo so happening on LRLF????

nice topic... our using dis language, from my point of view, has nothing to do wid our education, isn't it? 😉 😉 ... i think, we, or maybe, mu purpose of using dis language is 2 just enjoy every part of it. it's unique and i love dis language... it's different.. obviously it is! 😆 😆 😆 ....i like it because i like alekh and his unique way of projecting himself.. dat's it for me... and as u said , 'haila' was as it is veryyy common, and i, from d beginning use it..... i like using it dat's y.. dat's d reason y i sumtimes(veryyyyyyy rarely) 😆 , use alekh's lingo..... nice topic... 👏 👏 👏

well its just a time being attraction that we get 2 sumthings when we watch too much of it.. alekh ki style ekdum alag hain.. and we youngsters generally tend 2 adapt sumthin thats different... 😃

We should not copy someone,but Alekh has a unique charm,which compell us to follow his style.

I think I used this word '' Haila'' even before LRL began, but I agree with u that Alekh's tapoori lingo is very popular 😊

I think its not Alekh lingo..its actually da Munna-bhai style..frankly speaking..Alekh -lingo is jus a sibling of da main root of this lingo....nd as dat character became very big..ppl started using it in real life..coz ppl luv copying wat is being portrayed on screen...I myself do dat alot...so I think its jus self-satisifaction nd fun element.. 😳

apun to canada mei peda hui aur yahich badi hui hu ... lekin ... mamu ye sanju baba aur alekh ki tapori ishtyle ne to humko bhi mumbai ki mulgi banadala😆 ... (btw sorry, mulgi is marathi for girl right?😕 i'm pretty sure it is😆 ... it's not murgi right cause that's a chicken😕)

but if anyone prefers/needs it:

i was born and raised in canada but sanjay and alekh's street style has got the better of me too😆 - i think it helps me be closer to india (and no one take any offense cause i know that india encompases more than just mumbai and more than just this language) - in more politically correct terms, i guess it helps me be closer to bollywood which is loved everywhere😳
