Touch me, don't touch me

Rajeev Khandelwal was uncomfortable enacting a romantic scene with Priyanka Bassi in Left Right Left

Rajeev Khandelwal, who won millions of hearts for his romantic and intense portrayal as Sujal in Kahiin To Hoga, was uncomfortable playing a romantic scene with co-actress Priyanka Bassi aka Naina in Left Right Left.

Says a source in the production house, "It was a romantic sequence, where Rajeev and Priyanka were supposed to get cosy; the scene was to be shot in mud. When Rajeev heard about it, he was reluctant to do it. The director had a tough time persuading him. But even then, the scene could not be finished in a day. The director was unhappy about their poor chemistry on screen. He had to go for several retakes to get the seen right. "

When contacted Anshuman Singh, director of the show, said, "The scene was supposed to be shot in mud. Rajeev was not convinced initially; but when we told him that it was a significant scene in the plot, he agreed."

Anshuman further added, "Rajeev was unhappy in the beginning, because it was a muddy sequence and it is winter. It took two days to shoot the sequence, but the outcome was just perfect," he added.

But what about their poor on-screen chemistry? "The scene was important, so we couldn't do away with it. But as a director, I think, Rajeev's chemistry with Shveta Salve is far more appealing on screen than with Priyanka."

Priyanka Bassi, when contacted said, "The scene was shot at Filmcity. I was really scared to enact the scene since I was already stung by a scorpion a few days back. But Rajeev is a wonderful co-actor and was very supportive while performing the scene."

Rajeev Khandelwal was not available for any comment.

Awwwwwwwwwwww, if Aamna was the one to do that scene with Rajeev, then it will take a secound to do it 😉 😳, as both are very comfortable together 😉 😳

By the way, dures, from which website u got this article? can u plz add the link too?!!?

I agree with the director too,RN chemistry just don't work on screen ,thats what i think .no hard feelings for RN fan.

If their chemistry is supposedly poor...then how come the scene came out perfect 😆 😳 the director if he has quoted correctly has contradicted himself 😕

n whats with the comment 'poor on-screen' chemistry 😲

If director is soo unhappy with their chemistry why not just proceed with huda-naina and riti-rajvir track.. 😡 😡 gimme a break..they trying to pull cotton over our eyes n tell us that what we saw on tuesday's episode was not perfect on screen chemistry..n that all those jodi fans that throwed questions n compliments in priyanka's chat reg the natural chemistry btw rajvir and naina have no idea of what chemistry is...

If rajeev was in fact incomftable than man did he act preety well, 👏 👏 as the mud-scene promo said otherwise.

i wish rajeev could could clarify on the matter. 😛

also...i think the director should come to I-F and see the count of R-N jodi fans..as its the audience that decides that kiski chemistry jumtii hain ya nahin.😛

EVen Aamna was uncomfortable wid gurpreet...............and now rajeeeeeev ..................their chemistry i guess is just fine.....................and he looks cute wid shveta .................and now even i want naina and huda.. 😳 😳 😳
