As for the 'rigging' part....maybe Rajeev was hoping that things would change in those 3 yrs in which he attended the awards---maybe now he realises tht things won't change ever......Time teaches u a lot of things and this could be one of the things time has taught Rajeev.

Sneha..it's not that i don't respect his stance for not attending the awards...I just don't agree with the reason that he has put forth...It's not only the awards..even the nominations are pre decided...by the people concerned..so in a sense it is rigged...n frankly that may never change arnd here..

N I honestly don't believe that rajeev could be so naive that he expected things to change...in the 3 yrs...He is well aware of how things function out here..Esp..post the KTH episode. He has been thro' so much humiliation, the dirty politics..his so called frendz..taking potshots at him ..he has seen it and heard it all..

He must have had some inkling of this last year atleast ...then why did he bother to attend ITA..last year..where he won the award..Most of the actors know well in advance that they are gonna win..esp..when it comes to film awards..n i'm sure pretty much the same is played out here too...

Aamir K..too boycotted these popular film awards n till date he has stuck to his decision....n hopefully rajeev too will stick by it...

So true that time teaches us a lot of things..n better late than never... from now on i hope that i don't see him grace these award functions...n i wish him the best always ...

Well he was performing last yr with his 'best friend' wasnt he?😉 😉And maybe now he better understands the dirty politcis one becomes a victim of if they go agianst Ekta....I knw he's not naive but there's always some ray of hope that an indivdual holds----NOW maybe he realises that there's NO hope in an industry where every1 is Ekta's butt kissers.

I too hope he sticks by his decision.....and if he doesn't then I am going to be very disappointed. I hope and believe that he hasn't taken this decision simply coz he was a spoil sport and felt he wont win.

And remember this is coming from one of Rajeev's biggest critics, ie ME 😉

Oh..how could i forget..it surely must have been the lure of performing with his best frend 😆 n of course also had a chance to get back at HHITA n Star who refused to let them perform together...

We are his biggest critics cause we want the best for him n i hope he sticks to this decision or i'd be disappointed even if he came up with a logical reason for having to attend in future...

As for now let's respect his decision n hope n pray for the best....

but ab ita award dekhna waste hoga bcoz raj jo nahi aa raha magar dekhogi amna to hogi na hope so.

ITA never catered to Ekta that much as other awards. In last two years most of the important awards were given to Jassi.... and other non-Ekta show or to RAjeev.

Respecting Rajeev's decision not to attend ITA awards, I still think that RAjeev should see that he is seen more often in the Tellywood circle.
It is not very easy to fight Ekta who is a very powerful lady in the telly industry. Rajeev should face the reality and the situation.

Well....its no problem if he does not attend....but as bindoshi and breathy_irony said.....if he has decided no to attend any awards......then he should stand to it.....otherwise....

Completely agree with you Bini ...and just now i was talking to Trupti and said the same words that where was he for the last 3 years when he didnt realised that these awards are rigged ... though the whole world knows this fact ...but then you were nominated and bagged the award so you were there attending and performing too but now what happened all of a sudden ... you realised overnight that these awards are not fair . Then you should have told your fans in advance that you dont want to become the part of these awards so dont waste your time and energy to make innumerable ids and get me nominated or vote .

Though personally i beleive that he should have taken this step long before ....but ..now ..... its too late now Rajeev ... you were not like this ??? Do you beleive that you deserved the most stylish award for host .... and that too for DYND ??? No Rajeev .... you didnt deserve that but your fans made you win . This time also if you ll win it is b coz of your fans .....This will sound harsh to all of you ..but this is not fair on part of Rajeev . At least he should not have allowed this to be posted here ...the real reason ...b coz this reflects the negativity on your part.

seema now let me clear out something. it is this very line that yu hav said is the reason for his not going to these functions anymore. he has specifically said that i dnt want to get into these controversies. he dnt want to be a part of these statements that he did not deserve the award but got because of his fans. he wants to avoid these statements. his attending the function may giv yu pleasure but think how he must hav felt when he had to hear that. put yurself in his boots now and think would yu hav attended such function after that?

and again i would say the same. he has taken a wise decision. so what if it is after 3 yrs. dnt we all take time to make some decisions. is it not that even we realise late at times that what we were doing was wrong and should now stop? he has realised this today and thats the best thing.

going to an award function and showing himself dnt mak a person big or small. neither does it prove tht he is down to earth or that he luvs his fans. isnt he replying to his fans regularly. how many stars do that regularly tell me. and why is he doing this? for his fans nah.

he has some ethics some rules made by him in his life. better to respect them. not attending these function will not mak a fraction of effect on his fan following i am dead sure. his fans luv him watching on tv screen acting. as long as he go on doing that he will stay popular.
