Hello...namaste...sasriyakaal aadab mere pyaare lrl-ians!!😃

Ok, now, this has been started on many other forums, so i thought it should be there on our forum also, as it'll help us get to know each other a bit better and understand our viewpoints!

Ok, so, DISCUSSION OF THE WEEK is well...exactly what it sounds likešŸ˜›...a discussion! Every week, we pick a new topic relating to the show or watever issue it deals with, and hav a full fledged discussion on it!

Since this is the first post, i thought of starting with something very much asked and questioned ever since LRL started.....

HOW AUTHENTIC IS LRL?

Right ppl! Now we all know how much we love and adore his show, but my question to you ppl is, how much of it is authentic and how much has been put in jus for the sake of "optimum filmy effect"!šŸ˜›

So ppl.....wat r u waiting 4? Lets Begin!!!😃

Yeah I think it has a bit of reality and loads of drama
and I dont mind it..Because if they show that how soldiers are actually made then imagine how monotonous it would be and it would be like seeeing a reality show on discovery like..''CADETS TO SOLDIERS''...lol

Si I think LRL is simply superb because of its unique cast which brings in so much fun...Imagine seeing a show like ''fauji'' on TV today...
It might be the best show 15 years back but not now
So LRL is just perfect the way it is šŸ‘

i guess its atleast more real than any other popular show presently running on tv...tht much i can say on blank bond paper also šŸ˜† lolz..lets see.. šŸ˜• i cnt seem to think of any element whch has been put just for heck of masala šŸ˜• šŸ˜• oh yaaa...maybe neelu's part is just for having some filmy steamy romance type scenes šŸ˜• but otherwise i think they have put her to be on par with alekh's tapori part...

ya i agree with delo..none of us wud see a fauji kind of army show...it wud be soooooo boring šŸ˜• lrl is just 'in with the times'

i forgot a point...i keep wondering how come neelu comes into the army campus so many times??????

and girls barge into the boys rooms...these things dont happen in a normal hostel...let alone an army campus!

I am just fed up of these never-ending Saas-bahu saga's 🤢 .
LRL comes as a breather. 😃

It does have a few flaws but i prefer to ignore them.
LRL rocks. šŸ‘

All the characters are dimensional. No one is very good(with the exception of Ali) nor very bad. They are just like normal individuals, which i love about them. 😊

I think LRL has just the right degree of realism, not too much so that it becomes more like a documentary film , but not as weird any far away from life as the Saas-bhu sagas.

Well i think lrl is the perfect blend of facts and fiction.Frankly speaking i like it that way. It's neither a fauji type nor saans-bahu type. It's different and very original.I agree there are flaws but i prefer to ignore it.Maybe sometimes it moves a bit further from reality(like neelu comes and goes in the academy without any problem) but still i guess that makes it different from the other action-oriented shows. The cast is superb and absolutely suitable for the role they are playing.
So i guess to ans your question maybe it's not 100% authentic but i think that would have made this show quite boring.

I don't say its the bestest show ever... coz I would be wrong if I say so; I do not think of any serial as perfect as it suppposed to be in reality....
its definitely a DIFFERENT show with DIFFERENT story line and ofcourse new and superb star cast.... closer to reality yet a fiction...
LRL has all qualities that any successful daily soap needs, it proves that success prevails everywhere, its not just restricted to your portray domestic violences(Saas-Bahu-sagas) nor does it need any popular platform to be shown on(SAB)....
Something identified and accepted by viewers is what success means........
LRL does have the capability to change the current trend on TV in terms of types of serial being telecasted; LRL was one big risk in this era to get launched but as we all know good things never go unnoticed 😊
About its flaws:
If everything is perfect without a single flaw, I guess that won't be very interesting to discuss about in a forum like IF šŸ˜† ; its fun to discuss about errors than to discuss about the good things
A mixture of both is what reality; so LRL achieved reality successfully;

LRL simply rocksssssssss šŸ‘šŸ¼

NOTE: Neelu is a time pass for Aalekh as well as for us as we have many questions related to her only

i usually watch any new serial on air just to check out how they r, but after a point most of them get so boring & predictable that i stop watching them....most serials start with an interesting plot( even for that matter ektas serials) but after that god knows where they go......i feel this where lrl scores the most, even after so many episodes the interest in the show is still there & also as everyone has mentioned the story line is indeed different.....the characters are so real( only that i haven't seen anyone talk like pooja b4 but she is cute), their reactions natural & most importantly it hasn't swayed from its storyline as yet...
of course there r the minuses, the most glaring being, as rose mentioned, girls barging into guys hostel rooms at any hr....but i think they r minute in front of the plusses of the serial.......lrl is the best
