Kabir tells Varsha that Amrita is defending Prateek as she's an ideal wife & being a police officer, he knows what's on other people's minds. Varsha mischievously flirts with him & asks him to find out what's on her mind.
Kadam walks in & informs him that the informers have no info about Prateek's whereabouts. The lawyer, Saxena, visits Kabir & asks for case-related information as he has to file for an anticipatory bail for Prateek. Kabir is annoyed at all this but agrees to give the documents to the lawyer. He decides to find & arrest Prateek before the bail is approved by the court.
The goon informs his boss that Trisha attempted to seek help from an outsider by cutting the cable wire. Trisha watches the goon as he speaks to his 'boss' on the phone downstairs. She wishes her mother will get to her soon by catching the kidnapper who is someone close to their family.
Amrita goes to meet Kabir at the police station. She hears Kabir & his team discussing their plans on how they will raid & catch Prateek from a guesthouse they've zeroed in on. She anxiously calls Prateek on his cellphone & warns him about Kabir coming to get him. Then she walks in & tries to stop Kabir. He insists he has to go as he's on duty & has to go out for an important work. She delays him by asking about the information he leaked to the media (about Prateek & Neha's affair). Kabir is shocked at her accusation & denies doing that. He leaves hurriedly. Varsha runs into Amrita & tells her how Kabir is always too busy with Trisha's case these days. Amrita says that Kabir is following a wrong lead this time by going after Prateek as he's a good father but Kabir doesn't want to acknowledge that. Varsha defends Kabir & says that he can't be wrong & maybe it's her who's failed to recognize Prateek's intentions.
Kabir raids the guesthouse but Prateek flees before he reaches the spot. Kabir deduces that it must've been Amrita who's helped him escape.
At the Swaika house, it's Gaurav first day as the new CEO & Sonali performs an 'aarti' on him (after getting inspired from Bollywood movies). Amrita & Vivaan congratulate him as well. Vivaan calls him a "good father" & says that he's proud of how nice he is. Gaurav leaves for his office. Amrita instructs the maid to cook Chinese food for lunch as Saniya was asking for it. Sonali hears this & arrogantly orders the maid to cook Italian food for Vivaan instead.
In the Grewal house, Lavanya watches Kushan texting someone. She waits for him to go outside & then goes to pick up his phone. She's still browsing it when Kushan returns & snatches the phone away from her hands. He asks her if she's realized it yet on how it feels when a spouse is keeping secrets in a relationship. He also warns her to not interfere in his life.
Kabir visits Amrita & asks her on why she alerted Prateek before he could catch him. Amrita says that he cannot prove that it was her who helped Prateek. Kabir infuriately replies that he didn't gather proofs against her as he was just asking a friend & a mother who desperately wanted her daughter back at any cost. Amrita defends Prateek & says that if he was indeed the culprit then she would've handed him over to the police herself. Kabir tells her that he's not innocent & he's the one who's kidnapped Trisha & that's why she is wrong. Amrita remains adamant & announces that soon he'll realize that Prateek is not involved in all this. Kabir leaves.
Bobby & Meghan meet with the blind-date they've arranged for Vivaan. She's wearing tacky clothes & is slightly overweight and soon they realize Vivaan won't be interested in dating her. When Vivaan learns about her, he introduces Bobby as Vivaan & tells the girl to go out with him instead.
In the evening, Neha arrives at the Swaika house. Amrita asks her why she's there. Neha replies that it's Prateek house & she's well aware of their intimate relationship and that's why she decided to visit him. Amrita slaps her & drags her towards the front door. Neha says that she's got some evidence which can save Prateek from the cops but she won't give it to Amrita as she doesn't trust her. She lies to Amrita & says that even Prateek doesn't trust her as he suspects it is Amrita who planted the debit card in his wallet to frame him. Amrita says that she can't trust her. Neha defends her lies & says that it was Prateek who initiated a relationship with her as he didn't trust his own wife. Again, she tells Amrita about the proof that can help Prateek & asks about his whereabouts. Amrita wonders on whether she should trust Neha.
Precap: The kidnapper (his head covered with a hoodie) brings Trisha to an old, abandoned building & drags her to a height. He tries to throw her off from there while Trisha pleads to him & screams for help.
